Building Engineer - Full Time - Days - West Bloomfield

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under minimal leadership be responsible for the safe and economical maintenance and operation of all facets of building maintenance.

• Preventive maintenance on all HV AC and mechanical equipment; interface with patients; co-workers and other licensed engineering personnel in the maintenance of various HFH campus buildings.

• Obtain the training required for existing and new equipment and participate in Quality Improvement teams when necessary. Work as teams with other trades as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Third (3rd) class refrigeration license.

• Journeyman HV AC mechanical license.

• Electrical Journeyman license.

• Boiler High-pressure license or above.

• Journeyman plumbing with heating/cooling experience of three (3) years.

• A minimum of one (1) of the above with five to eight (5-8) years of experience in maintenance of a large industrial or institutional faculty.
