The Office of the Sheriff and the Kent County Correctional Facility are seeking a professional Building Custodian III to join their Facilities Management Team. The successful candidate will help clean and maintain areas of the campus both inside and outside.

Inside duties will include cleaning fixtures and furnishings, as well as stripping and sealing floors. Duties outside include maintaining grounds, walkways, and parking lots. Additional duties involve working with chemicals and biohazard cleanup.

Must have a good working knowledge of cleaning methods.

Must have the ability to work independently, and to provide work instructions and demonstrate proper cleaning methods to less experienced workers. An individual who possesses some experience as a lead worker is desired.
