Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager, the Building Coordinator maintains buildings, handles or oversee day-to-day maintenance, manages preventive maintenance, provides quality control over work performed by third parties, schedules seasonal work on the grounds both landscaping and snow removal, at locations within the region of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.

  • Manages and completes work orders as received within internal Building/Maintenance Software (FMX)

  • Consistently modifies the preventative maintenance equipment list within FMX as equipment is added, deleted or repaired.

  • Coordinates third party vendors to complete various work orders that are outside of work that is performed internally.

  • Ensures that proper coordination with third party vendors and all necessary FIBT staff is completed before any work is scheduled, along with proper access and security for any afterhours work.

  • Manages a priority list of Cap Ex items for each location within the region of responsibility for proper yearly budgeting.

  • Reports any safety or security issues to the associated branch BPSO office for proper reporting.

  • Provides help during any new construction or remodel work identified at any location within the region of responsibility.

  • If an individual Branch Custodian person is hired for anyone location, the Building Coordinator would be responsible for providing direction to this person for the completion of the following:

  • Notifies Building Coordinator concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.

  • Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.

  • Mows lawn, trims shrubbery and cultivates flowers.

  • Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures and trim.

  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and other work areas.

  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.

  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.

  • Dusts furniture and equipment and polishes metalwork.

  • Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork.

  • Washes windows, door panels and sills.

  • Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.

  • If there is no Branch Custodian person at any location within the region of responsibility then the above scope of work needs to be performed by the Building Coordinator or out sourced to properly manage and complete the scope of work

  • Coordinate security work with Physical Security Tech to trouble shoot issues and replace cameras, card readers, electronic strikes, motion sensors, and alarm panels.

  • Knowledgeable with HVAC systems and controls, plumbing, electrical, low voltage and overall understanding of building components

  • Responsible for the ordering of various supplies needed at locations within the region of responsibility

  • Responsible for the inspection of all areas within a building for proper cleaning and organization

  • Ensures classified documents are shredded and transports shred to disposal area.

  • Explains, promotes, cross-sells or refers bank, insurance and trust products or services.

  • Reviews emails and branch messages to remain current on policy or procedural changes and new product offerings.

  • Attends periodic training to receive information about various bank services and participates in an exchange of ideas and problems.

  • Assists with various projects and assignments as needed.

  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulations.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalency.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Provides technical assistance to stakeholders regarding existing and new Health & Safety program needs. This position requires comprehensive knowledge within a functional area. Performs work under general direction and work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives and ensuring compliance with processes, standards and policies of the organization. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult and complex problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practical and consistent with the objectives of the organization. This position may train and mentor less experienced professionals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Support implementation of overall strategy for Health & Safety Programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. * Advise leadership regarding the Health & Safety aspects of O&M/Capital projects, tasks and operations. * Implement programs, policies and procedures applicable to company and contractor personnel with occasional guidance from more experienced Coordinators. * Develop, implement and maintain one or more Health & Safety programs of moderate complexity. Ensure the overall compliance with company and regulatory requirements. * Support the development of procedures, training and presentations related to programs, regulatory changes and internal needs to provide consistent communications to applicable stakeholders. * Interface with internal/external stakeholders to maintain effective working relationships. * Ensure Health & Safety projects are completed in accordance with established schedules and budgets. * Coordinate Health & Safety training of company and contractor personnel on policies, procedures and regulations. * Identify hazards within the workplace and work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders to mitigate and/or remove such hazards. * Verify compliance with regulations and ensure all required records are maintained, prepared and/or submitted in accordance with established guidelines and/or regulatory deadlines within an assigned geographic area of responsibility. * Coordinate and/or participate in regulatory inspections and internal audit processes, providing inspectors/auditors with required documents. * Respond to company incidents including, but not limited to: emergency response, spills, releases, pipeline failures, employee/contractor injuries/illnesses and vehicular incidents. * Coordinate with local emergency response teams and other internal departments to ensure incidents are contained and controlled. * Assist with regulatory reporting associated with company incidents. * Provide information regarding safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) through the use of data management systems. * Develop, analyze and distribute safety metrics to ensure continual performance improvement. * Monitor Health & Safety Program effectiveness and identify areas of potential risk. Work with the Health & Safety group to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce overall employee and company risk. * Lead and/or participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis. Assist stakeholders with implementation of identified corrective actions and monitor progress. * Provide technical support for the analysis of Health & Safety regulatory proposals and policy positions, including coordinating input from all affected internal stakeholders. * Provide support to environmental programs including, but not limited to: Naturally Occuring Radioactive Material (NORM), SPCC, emergency response, sampling, environmental inspections and waste management. Provide guidance and direction to less experienced professionals. Minimum Education & Experience * Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related discipline. * Five (5) years' directly related experience. * EHS field experience in the oil & gas industry (including gathering, processing, storage, transmission, & liquid gathering) preferred. * Environmental experience including but not limited to waste management, asbestos, remediation, and SPCC programs preferred. * Certified in one or more of the following preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), NORM Surveyor or Radiation Safety Officer Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and local regulations (i.e. DOT, EPA, OSHA). * Strong technical skills in EHS program development, review and implementation. * Ability to apply knowledge of industry and company health & safety standards and regulations. * Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. * Ability to understand and comply with state and federal regulatory requirements, company and industry operating standards and safety procedures. * General knowledge of environmental compliance and associated regulations. * Ability to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility. * Strong understanding of project management techniques with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously. * Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. * Strong analytical skills and experience; ability to solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze possible solutions using standard procedures. * Ability to effectively handle pressures and demands of deadlines and competing priorities. * Comprehensive skills in computer applications, databases and reporting software (Microsoft Office Suite applications). * Strong Collaboration skills in order to partner effectively across various levels of the organization. * Work independently; with guidance in only the most complex situations. * Ability to discern data inaccuracies through technical experience and knowledge. * Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company's ethics code of conduct and other company policies and procedures. * Respect and follow safety policies and regulations; scan the environment for objects or people who may pose a safety risk; encourage others to utilize safe and healthy work practices.
