Position Title: Build and Integration Engineer 2Req #: 125Location: MarylandOPS Consulting is seeking a Build and Integration Engineer 2 to work in Laurel, MD. As a Build and Integration Engineer 3 at OPS Consulting you will be responsible for the operation, design, and integration of a broad range of systems and components. You will provide expertise on integrating sub-systems at scale, as well as interfaces with environmental systems, facilities, data systems, and security infrastructure.Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with complex electrical systems integration
- 5+ years of experience with facility-level electrical systems designed to meet highly custom/challenging requirements, such as:
- Complex scientific project power distribution and management
- HPC center electrical design and integration.
- Significant expertise in at least two of the following areas and familiarity with at least three additional areas:
- Facility AC power conditioning and monitoring
- Facility high-voltage power distribution and load balancing
- DC power conditioning, distribution
- Backup power generation
- Industrial control systems (SCADA)
- Advanced electrical fabrication and manufacturing processes
- High performance computing power requirements
- Digital communications (Ethernet, etc.)
- EMI (ESD, Magnetic Field)
- Safety and Hazard Analysis
- Maintainability Analysis
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
