Budtender

Sweet Grass is hiring full time Budtenders to join our team in Seneca Falls. This position will be required to train in Union Springs prior to transferring to the Seneca Falls location.

Budtender:

• Advising customers on cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.

• Knowledgeable of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.

• Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Ensuring that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized.

• Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.

• Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.

• Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.

• Ensures security of company assets including cash and products.

• Have excellent written/verbal communication skills.

• Be a dedicated collaborator.

• Able to manage multiple tasks, flexible and positive when adjusting to change.

• Have attention to detail and follow-through.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.

• Effective communication skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Must be able to remain on feet for 6+ hours and lift approximately 40 pounds.

• Must have flexible availability as late nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Hours per week:

• Full Time 40+ hours

• $16.00/ hour

Hours of operation:

9:00AM-9:00PM everyday

• Shifts may vary.

Education:

• High school or equivalent OR currently enrolled in equivalent program at time of hire.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (required)
• Cash handling experience 1 year (required)
• Proven experience working as a Budtender: 1 year (preferred)
