About the Position:
This Budget Analyst, NH-0560-03 position is located within the Enterprise Systems and Services Office, Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) at Radford, VA.
Perform full range of budget oversight, control, and accountability for assigned areas
Operate a variety of Army or Federal financial systems to include or equivalent to the Army?s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
Develop, track, research, and present a variety of special and recurring budget execution, analytical and financial reports, and documents for the effective management of program funds
Develop and implement annual program execution plans throughout the fiscal year for assigned areas, recommending budgetary adjustments to support changing operational requirements and funding needs
Process, review, and edit requests for allocation of funds; analyzing budget and financial data for consistency with financial plans, program schedules
Occasional travel - 5% business travel

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11)

THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08) Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 23 March 2006.
This position may be eligible for regular and recurring telework, including emergency and OPM prescribed unscheduled telework. Supervisor approval will be required on a case-by-case basis.
