Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Budget Analyst III. This is a full-time position, located in White Sands Missile Range, NM.

Duties: The Budget Analyst III will be responsible for organizing, archiving, analyzing, monitoring and reporting on a variety of financial endeavors to include; budgets, cost estimates, travel expenses, WBS management and other components of a Government awarded, defense contracting company, operating on White Sands Missile Range. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with Program Manger and Team Leads to develop cost estimates and budgets.

  • Evaluates and provides recommendation for budget proposals, travel request, overtime, ODCs, etc.

  • Maintains a database of active WBS codes for all WAOs, maintains validity of codes and closes WBS codes when necessary.

  • Develops budget estimates for review for new project requirements based on personnel labor categories (LCAT), estimated labor hours, TDY (Temporary Duty Travel), vehicle requirements, ODCs, Etc.

  • Evaluates cost-benefit analyses to determine value.

  • Determines whether budget proposals are in compliance with regulations.

  • Monitors spending to ensure it remains within budgets.

  • Estimates and forecasts future financial need and supports programs with financial analytics.

  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

  • Prepares estimates to complete (ETC) and spend plans, audits subcontractor invoices, and provides briefings and related documentation and reports for financial assessments.

  • Organizes budget templates and data in a clear and intuitive manner.

  • Helps identify financial or operating risks associated with the execution of the contract or project.

  • Provides project summary status reports to management as required or requested.

  • Works integrally with Government personnel and members of financial reporting teams from various corporations to ensure fidelity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Must have excellent computer skills; must be proficient with MS Office Software Suite with expertise in Excel

  • Financial Skills

  • Developing budgets

  • Tracking budget expenses

  • Analyzing Information

  • Auditing, accounting, and corporate finance

  • Managing Processes

  • Developing Standards

  • One year of specialized experience which includes 2 out of 3 of the following: 1) Utilizing appropriate financial and/or accounting techniques to manage projects or contracts; OR 2) Reviewing financial data in data tracking systems to: organize, archive, analyze, monitor, report, recognize potential conflicts, and/or provide general accounting for an organizations financial book keeping; OR 3) Manage a contracting organizations charging of the Government, for work completed on various projects, during a Government awarded contract.

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position
