ACT1 Federal is seeking an:

Experienced and motivated budget analyst with experience supporting a Customs and Border Protection program management office acquiring and supporting information technology systems for the Passenger Systems Program Division.

This position provides U.S. Customs and Border Protection with real time finance and budget management supporting multiple contracts, program offices and Agencies in the Passenger Systems Program Division.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Researching and updating budget plans and contract execution financial logs with current financial information.
• Processing and data entry for invoices from multiple government contracts utilizing automated data base solutions
• Researching and reviewing budget and financial reports, tracking plans, obligations and expenditures and developing budget and financial reports.
• Forecast and process invoices from multiple contracts into automated database systems
• Communicate and coordinate the status of financial operations, budgets and transactions across a government program office
• Analyze contract and budget spend plans and worksheets to track financial execution. Develop budget and financial reports reflecting current and projected future status
• Prepare obligation and de-obligation reports for reprogramming and reallocation of funding
• Attend weekly and monthly program office meetings to coordination financial operations

Requirements

• Bachelors degree

• 10+ years experience in budget and financial operations in a government program office
• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• CBP suitability
