Essential Functions:

  • Consistently prepare high quality food in a timely manner and follow all company recipes and specifications.

o Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.

o Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.

o Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.

o Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of your work station and the Kitchen.

  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.

  • Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, Kitchen rules, policies & procedures.

  • Estimate expected food consumption, requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage.

  • Set up Line according to kitchen guidelines and par sheets.

  • Pre-cut ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, deli-meats, et-cetera, in order to reduce the preparation time for dishes.

  • Check to see if kitchen equipment is operational.

  • Stock stations to par levels.

  • Check stations for equipment and tools.

  • Memorize all ingredients and portion sizes for the menu items.

  • Wrap, date and refrigerate food.

  • Sanitize cutting boards.

  • Organize station shelves.

  • Hand-clean knives.

  • Complete and participate in Line Checks to ensure that quality products are served.

  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-ins, and all storage areas.

  • Wash your hands frequently.

  • Use kitchen utensils, knives and equipment safely and in a responsible manner.

  • Work as a team and use positive communication skills at every opportunity.

  • Clean, stock, and maintain the Line throughout shift.

Serves as the first line of communication between the client, prospect, broker or consultant for questions and inquiries. * Performs sales and service administrative tasks (ie. Benefits Quote Requests, new business quotes/RFPs, account worksheets, certificate and Summary Plan Description (SPD) review, WebBen system creation and review, auditing of ID cards, system maintenance, group reporting, etc.). * Interacts with Client, Broker, Consultant, internal departments, and vendors to resolve elevated issues related to claims, eligibility, plan design, billing, enrollment, etc. on behalf of customers. * Attends client meetings as directed by team management (ie. open enrollment, wellness, health fairs and Company-sponsored events, etc.). * Fields external questions/inquiries from brokers, consultants and clients and follows through to resolution. * Maintains awareness of product and process changes and Health Care Reform topics by actively participating in staff meetings, trainings and webinars, in addition to maintaining active Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) licensing status. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but will consider collective experience, training and education. * 2 years support experience in a financial service, health insurance, customer service or related environment. * Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) license (required to obtain within 4 months of hire). * Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding). * Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Power Point).
