KPMG is currently seeking a BTS Manager Information Reporting and Withholding NYFS to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Provide on-site guidance to withholding agents regarding compliance with information reporting requirements
Provide support to clients in relation to the technical and practical application of IRS regulations
Review work carried out by KPMG member firms globally during the performance of QI audits, FATCA and CRS engagements
Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions to tax issues from moderate to complex
Develop and support risk assessments and implement appropriate tax procedures
A minimum of four years of experience working at a Big 4, law firm, or in a withholding agent environment focused on information reporting and withholding responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) is preferred
Experience dealing with senior level professionals
Experience dealing with the IRS
