The purpose of this position is to provide customer support to resolve more complex system issues, process a variety of system transactions, conduct system checks, provide system access and perform updates to various maintenance files. This position also partner s with BSU staff on projects and system activity as needed. Individual(s) in this position should possess strong technical skills, be a proven team member, and provide support and mentoring to more junior positions. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Answer and respond to a variety of calls from employees and agents regarding system errors or issues and work to resolve issue to users' satisfaction. Conduct root cause analysis and correct errors or escalate issues to appropriate personnel to resolve. Work on more complex issues and errors, following through to full resolution.
Provides customer support pertaining to maintenance, processing, and issuance of automated insurance transactions including interaction with other BSU and IT partners to develop solutions for front-end and back-end processing errors. Will work on larger scale issues and customer needs.
Provide high level of support to end users, post implementation, for various IT solutions within area of support. Work with IT partners to conduct system maintenance checks when needed.
Maintain and administer system access for the organization for our core insurance systems.
May also be responsible for sorting and distributing policy output, OFAC monitoring and processing, and Query Studio for various ad hoc reports, as necessary.
Conduct and complete various assigned file maintenance and/or administrative table updates (ie, Billing or SIC tables, electronic forms library, city/county, VIN, form file maintenance).
May process error corrections, implement policy corrections and/or corrective actions, as well as conduct policy recycling activities. May also conduct any manual data entry needed for the organization to ensure accurate policy generation.
Dependent on area of assignment, may support our Agency Interface upload / download.
Dependent on area of assignment, may also maintain Workers Compensation dividend plans.
Provide support and mentoring to more junior personnel.

High School diploma with 5+ years of Insurance Related Business/Technical Experience or College Degree in related field with 2+ years of insurance related/technical experience.
