Position Summary:

RT Specialty, a leading wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products and services, is seeking a Brokerage Operations Coordinator to join our Dallas, TX team. This role is crucial in providing operational support to our brokerage team, ensuring the seamless functioning of daily operations. The Brokerage Operations Coordinator will handle day-to-day tasks, ensure compliance with regulations, and facilitate effective communication within the team. Working closely with our experienced brokers, who specialize in property, casualty, professional lines, transportation, and workers' compensation, the coordinator will ensure timely transaction completion through efficient paperwork processing and coordination with other departments. What will your job entail?

  • Operational Excellence: Assist in executing and coordinating daily brokerage operations, supporting the continuous improvement of our procedures.

  • Document Preparation: Collaborate with brokers to prepare documents, cover letters, and marketing materials for renewal business. Provide essential administrative support, including filing, printing, and archiving.

  • Client Information Management: Accurately administer and update new and existing client information across all required systems.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain precise and organized records of client accounts, transactions, and other relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with record-keeping regulations.

  • Customer Service: Perform customer service functions by responding to broker requests and inquiries via telephone, email, chat, or in person.

  • Compliance Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of compliance reports related to brokerage operations and collaborate with broker and finance teams on business requirements.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, assisting in the preparation of compliance reports.

  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating operational risks, working with risk management teams to implement effective controls.

  • Team Support: Provide support to the Brokerage team with any ad hoc tasks and requests.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within the insurance industry. Brokerage or Underwriting experience preferred.

  • Bachelors degree within Business Admin, Sales, or Risk Management preferred.

  • P&C license not required, but would be a plus.

The target hourly rate range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
