G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Broadcast Special Content Producer Editor to join its team in College Park, GA.

Summary

The Broadcast and Special Content Producer/Editor has the primary responsibility for conceptualizing storyboarding, producing, and editing commercial spots, special segments and full-length special programming. This may also include updates to specific segments, corporate and service video needs. This position is also responsible for production of some interdepartmental corporate videos and special projects for potential use in Worship Services, conventions and online.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for seeing assigned productions through from conception to approved deliverable.

  • Responsible for researching, writing and editing content (e.g. scripts, storyboards, soundbites, images or B-roll, etc.) for specials elements.

  • Coordinate casting, location scouting, and acquisition of necessary permits.

  • Conduct research, brainstorm ideas, and develop concepts for video projects.

  • Coordinate and direct video shoots, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to the creative vision. Conduct interviews, film footage, capture b-roll, and oversee on-set activities.

  • Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for direct response spots.

  • Script writing for promos, special interest, product offers and broadcast fillers.

  • Produce and edit content used across multiple platforms.

  • Quality control checks for work prior to submission for final approval.

  • Collaborate with the Media Team, Marketing Team and other Stakeholders for certain projects.

  • Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to edit raw footage, apply visual effects, and enhance audio elements. Create compelling and engaging visual narratives, incorporating music, graphics, and sound effects. Ensure the final product aligns with the desired tone, style, and messaging.

  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma required; BA in Broadcast Journalism, Media or Communications is preferred.

  • Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in the media industry.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Producer-Editor or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of video production and editing.

  • Strong storytelling and creative skills, with the ability to develop and execute compelling visual narratives.

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and other relevant tools.

  • Knowledge of video production techniques, equipment, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

  • Solid organizational and project management abilities.

  • Prior experience working with a team of creative individuals.

  • Video production experience essential.

  • Must possess strong writing skills.

  • Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative, creative team environment.

  • Proficient using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and other editing software.

  • Strong familiarity with English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.)

  • A gracious, Christ-like demeanor in demanding situations.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • Desktop computer

  • Final Cut Pro (FCPX) and After Effects and other editing software and templates.

  • Monday.com (Communication Tool)

  • Microsoft Office Products

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment

  • Some location work will be outdoors (as needed or assigned)

  • Some work is scheduled outside of normal Ministry business days and hours.
