The TEGNA Financial Services Team, located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Broadcast Media Credit Specialist to join our growing Credit Team due to multiple acquisitions. TEGNA is one of the largest media companies in the United States, with brands that reach 41 million television households and each month reaches 75 million adults across our digital platforms. The TEGNA Financial services team provides financial services to all TEGNA television and radio stations including credit, collections, billing, and cash receipt services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for maintaining high quality external and internal customer service while providing evaluation of credit worthiness of new potential advertisers, monitoring the credit risk of existing accounts, timely new account set up, review of accounts on credit hold, releasing of orders as well as processing credit card payments for customers.

This role will provide the opportunity for personal and career growth for a motivated and well-organized person with excellent communication skills and who can work under deadline pressure with speed and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3-5 years' experience preferred.

  • Media finance experience (TV, Radio, or Digital) strongly preferred.

  • Wide Orbit Software experience preferred.

  • Credit and customer service experience required.

  • Experience with Dun & Bradstreet scoring preferred.

  • Experience processing customer credit card payments preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and business math.

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Experience with Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to multi-task successfully and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, centralized environment.

  • Solid organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to create and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule and extended hours as needed.

  • Reliable Internet connection at home.

He/She is responsible for community and brand reputation management across social platforms and eCommerce, engaging with consumer comments, messages and product reviews and mitigating/escalating issues as needed. He/She creates and implements social media content and campaigns with the goal of enriching KidKrafts communications with external stakeholders, including social media followers, media outlets and/or the general public. Maintains strong relationships with key individuals throughout the organization to develop this content. The social media specialist is self-motivated, eager to learn, passionate, and people-oriented. Major Responsibilities: * Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the companys brand identity. * Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns. * Managing monthly social editorial calendar for brand and retail partner support * Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner. * Managing brand reputation by responding to negative reviews in a timely manner and escalating issues as needed. * Supporting paid and organic influencer sampling and PR amplification * Coordinating and supporting review generation efforts * Tracking competitors social presence and promotional cadence in weekly tracker * Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the companys social media presence and performance. * Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts. * Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results. * Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media. * Performing other duties when needed. Required Skills & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, PR preferred * Minimum 2 years of experience with demonstrated success in social media community management, community building, social media strategies, and outreach. * Passion for and experience using social media either personally, professionally or both * Good verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills * Possess strong organization skills and attention to detail * Understanding of social media platforms and their use in professional settings About KidKraft, Inc.
