KARE11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota is seeking a creative, ambitious newsroom leader to transform our daily content. The Executive Producer will work with a team of producers, reporters, photographers and digital staff to craft impactful content that is highly engaging and memorable. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and oversees daily newsgathering efforts during the day. Oversees evening newscasts.

  • Assigns daily stories and projects to reporters, anchors, photographers, and digital team and monitors the progress of story development throughout the evening.

  • Focuses on accuracy and strong writing in our scripts, copy editing and closely working with reporters and producers to create accurate, informative, and engaging content. Approvals all on air scripts prior to news broadcasts.

  • Aggressively covers breaking news forall platforms.

  • Champions story planning and works with entire team to produceengaging storytelling through strong writing, visuals, use of sound, graphics, and other production techniques.

  • Boldly participates in the newsroom editorial meetings to make editorial decisions.

  • Works with editorial team on developing best practices and innovating our newscasts.

  • Collaborates with the Assignment Desk on potential story ideas and planning for both on-air and digital coverage.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years newsroom leadership experience preferred as an EP, assistant news director, or news director

  • Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, photojournalism, editing, and content management systems a plus

  • Excellent copy editing skills

  • A desire and demonstrated ability to lead other journalists

  • Passion and vision for emerging media, ability to pivot based on new technology

  • Strong organizational, motivational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work and be on call nights and weekends

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead change

  • BA/BS in journalism, communications or related a plus

As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible to prepare for new DRAM products and coordinate resources, testing, and analysis over the lifecycle of the product. You will run simulations, create and maintain design documentation, analyze parametric data and respond to failures. In this role, you will work with various Engineering and Manufacturing groups to troubleshoot, develop and validate device testing programs, as well as identify and validate lab equipment needs, and identify or modify tests for customer returns and programs to meet specific product requirements. You will also act as a product-specific point of contact and work with Application Engineers evaluating and providing feedback on data sheets, and with Quality Assurance to ensure product reliability. Responsibilities and Tasks Prepare for Initial Tapeout for New DRAM Products * Work with Design Engineering and run simulations * Provide feedback on lessons learned * Work with Process Integration Engineering (PIE) * Work with Process Integration Engineering (PIE) Create and maintain design documentation * Complete the pre-silicon checklist Coordinate Post Tapeout Preparation for Silicon * Work with Manufacturing teams to ensure resources are available (Probe cards, substrates, package part trays, tester handler kits, etc.) * Identify PE Lab equipment needs * Identify and validate PE Lab equipment * Work with Test and Probe and product engineering to modify programs for specific product requirements (Micromate) Ensure that Silicon Meets Product Expectations * Extract and analyze Probe and Test Parametric data * Debug and identify root cause for failures * Implement fixes for fails (Design or Process) * Work with Quality Assurance (QA) Teams on customer returns to identify new tests * Work with QA to ensure reliability * Monitor yields and verify that yields meet projections Partner with Engineering , Manufacturing and Marketing * Create and deliver presentations * Participate in meetings (status updates, Fab, Design teams, etc) * Troubleshoot, develop or validate device testing programs * Evaluate data sheets and provide feedback to Application Engineers * Prioritize work with other groups Provide Technical Training and Expertise * Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new engineers * Instruct on data presentation and techniques * Assist with data interpretation * Act as product-specific point of contact * Attend technical seminars Education Required Bachelors Degree * Engineering - Computer * Engineering - Electrical Desired Bachelors Degree * VLSI * Semiconductors/Nanotechnology About Micron Technology, Inc.
