The Spark44 Broadcast Associate Producer focuses on three main responsibilities: managing television commercial tagging and trafficking, tracking usage rights to video content currently in market, and supporting the Spark44 Senior Broadcast Producer to manage post production projects and track production financials. The Spark44 Broadcast Associate Producer must be very organized and have a keen eye for detail. Advanced knowledge of Excel and database functionality is a plus. Business Affairs and automotive creative agency experience strongly preferred but not essential.


  • Manage monthly offer tagging and trafficking operations for Jaguar Land Rover

  • Oversee national and regional broadcast TV spot end card creation

  • Maintain database of usage rights (talent, music, voice over, etc.) for current and historical Jaguar Land Rover video content

  • Track rights usage and ensure expired assets are removed from use or terms are re-negotiated

  • Provide Broadcast-related Business Affairs support in conjunction with outside counsel and/or internal team

  • Ensure new jobs are properly set up with Spark44 finance and track financials from budgets to bidding and all the way to project close

  • Support the Spark44 Sr. Broadcast Producer on post production projects by liaising with vendors and project managing aspects of video adaptations (versioning Global assets, re-editing existing content,) and origination projects


Broadcast Tagging and Trafficking

  • Manage monthly end card offer creation (lease, MSRP, APR) for National and Regional Television Commercial Spots (TVC)

  • Ensure all offers have been proofread and video has been QCed before routed for broadcast.

  • Partner with vendor to manage TVC Network clearance process

Project Creation and Set Up

  • Work with Account team to be sure job starts are initiated on timely basis

  • Assign project codes and establish server project folders

  • Assist Sr. Broadcast Producer to create project schedules and guide team to meet deadlines

Project Maintenance and Production

  • Gather costs, generate contracts/estimates and issue PO requests, as required

  • Schedule production kickoff calls with vendors, partners and agents, as required

  • Facilitate contracts and vendor agreements, as required

  • Facilitate new vendor set-up and advance payments with Finance, as required

  • Adapt, or work with Producers to adapt, Global assets for local market use

Project Reporting and Tracking

  • Ensure that current approved projects are tracked and archived appropriately

  • Manage and report project status to team and partners

  • Collaborate with internal Spark teams and the external partners to resolve any issues that pertain to production scheduling, reviews, or asset delivery throughout the project

Project Reconciliation

  • Facilitate timely and complete upload of assets to the server, and other technology platforms as needed

  • Confirm final invoices/billing and closing of projects with team on timely basis


  • BA/BS degree in Communications, Film, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in broadcast-quality video/film production

  • Luxury auto or other automotive experience a big plus

  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere editing software and an understanding of the post production process

  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills listening, coaching, mentoring, explaining difficult concepts in simple language, and ability to relate and play well with others

  • Excellent presentation skills (both in-person and via phone)

  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills. Must be able to write simply and present persuasively

  • Diplomatic and professional with the ability to work well with all levels of staff (both internal and external)

  • Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way

  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done

  • Ability to function well and multi-task under demanding timelines

  • Familiar with Microsoft and Adobe suite of products (e.g. Word, Excel, Photoshop and PDF etc)

  • Familiarity with database software platforms a big plus (esp. Salesforce)
