Where you will work: This position will be based out of Astound's Millersville, MD office.

A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician II:

  • Residential and Small Business Install and service/repair* (data, video, phone) on customer premises

  • Ensure/record correct RF and signal levels within specifications

  • Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed

  • Customer education and Quality delivery

  • Achieve required training certification and safety requirements

  • Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 6+ months of satisfactory metrics OR 1+ years external telecommunications technician

  • Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ladder; Hand or Power Tools; Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written); Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

  • Ability to climb a 28 foot ladder.

Education and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
