BRIDGES is seeking five (5) full-time AmeriCorps Members (1720 hours of service required) to serve as Specialists for the Bridge Builders program from August 9, 2019, to August 8, 2020. Members will serve an average 35-40 hours per week during the academic year and 40+ hours per week during the summer (June July). Full-time AmeriCorps Members will: receive a stipend of $19,500 divided into 27 bi-weekly pay periods. qualify for the Segal Education Award upon successful completion of service. qualify for student loan forbearance throughout their service term. have the option to enroll in healthcare coverage (medical/vision/dental) provided by BRIDGES during service term. participate in professional networking and skill development, research and training in local social justice issues and youth development. train as an experiential learning facilitator. serve with a dedicated team of AmeriCorps members and BRIDGES staff to create positive community change. complete Stewards of Children training.

CPR/First Aid training and certification. Bridge Builders Specialists work collaboratively to facilitate/co-facilitate Bridge Builders meetings, workshops and full day events at the Jim Boyd BRIDGES Center, schools and outside organizations (members will receive training on Bridge Builders curricula).
