PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform Carpentry work on a bridge construction jobsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project, including the ability to work with tools, lumber, and materials.

  • Basic Carpentry as it relates to the building and bracing of wooden forms and falsework. Must be able to work off the ground and handle form panels and jacks up to 80 lbs.

  • Drive Pile must be able to work off the ground positioning pile in leads

  • Steel and Concrete Girder Erection must be able to work off the ground assembling and guiding girders into final position, including handling as needed to preset.

  • Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of Sloan Constructon

  • Any other task assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months experience working as a Carpentar on a construction site

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 80 lbs for 50 feet is required

  • Climbing ladders up to 60 feet

Work Place Values/Requirements:

  • Outside work on a Bridge construction jobsite.
