Candidate is responsible for clearing off tables, resetting tables, stocking dinnerware, replenishing soda bag in a box and polishing silverware according to the standards of the dining room. Candidate will assist the Front Server and Restaurant Supervisors at all times to exceed guest expectations.

Candidate may be requested to assist in running food or expediting food to insure guests satisfaction and all other duties as assigned. The Server Assistant uses Safe Food Handling practices while handling food and service utensils at all times. Candidate must be able to work in a fun, friendly and team environment while keeping assigned work areas and personal appearance neat, clean and organized. Candidate is responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous one year of food or hospitality service experience preferred but not required. Candidate must be polite, interact well with guest and fellow team members while maintaining a professional appearance throughout the operation. Candidate must be committed to 100% customer service. Candidate must also be able to work on their feet for long for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds routinely throughout a shift as well as be able to work rotational shifts, weekends, weekdays, holidays and other shifts as designated to insure guest satisfaction. Sensory 3 Server Assistant must be able to obtain appropriate licensing.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent

Have complete knowledge of all Brew Brothers restaurant duties including food service techniques, specialty beverages and upscale wines. Provide guidance to train managers, cashiers, greeters and service staff in all areas of full-service dining. Manager is responsible for ensuring weekly completion of staff schedules, payroll and tip reports. Supervise the restaurant schedules so that proper coverage is maintained according to business volume. Monitor the reservation policies and procedures and communicate necessary information to the culinary department to insure success as a team on a regular basis. Ensure the highest level of guest service through daily shift-by-shift pre-meal meetings and monthly meetings are used to illustrate the proper guest service techniques and obtain information from staff members for improvement. Check staff attendance according to schedules and adjust and reassign stations as necessary in order to provide quality food and beverage services during operation. Provide guidance and mentorship to management team through adequate training, resources and authority to manage the dining room in your absence. Provide the training for the management team to grow in knowledge and responsibility to pursue a greater career path. Attend meetings; oversee the ordering of supplies from purchasing with proper paper flow. Supervise the assigning of specific duties to employees for efficient, sanitary and organizational operation of the restaurant. Brew Brothers Manager is responsible for handling restaurant compliments and complaints in a professional manner as well as communicate this information to management to strive to exceed guests’ expectations. Be professional, courteous and friendly at all times with the patrons and other employees. Continue to strive to improve and make informed decisions in F&B in all areas to include but not limited to: safety, sanitation, cleanliness, organization, guest satisfaction, budgets, payroll, food cost and revenues. May issue a complimentary in accordance with the approved comp matrix. Requirements: Two years previous experience in full-service dining as General Manager or Department Head. Requirements include any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Knowledge of dining room fundamentals and a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage products with the desire to continue to learn is a must. Above average mathematical skills along with being able to analyze and facilitate changes in a high volume restaurant through reporting, collected data and informed decisions approved by management. Be able to communicate well with fellow managers, staff and patrons in a positive and professional manner. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, days, nights and holidays as well as work on their feet for prolonged periods in a fast paced friendly and inviting environment. Manager must have excellent POS skills, cash handling, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and be able to coordinate a dining room of 200-400 guests on a regular basis through a variety of seating systems. Candidate must possess excellent management skills, be self-motivated and highly professional as well as be groomed with a professional appearance at all times. Candidate must be able to pass and maintain a Safe Food Handling program as designated by local health codes. Candidate must obtain appropriate licensing and certifications as set forth by the PGCB and Presque Isle Downs. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required.
