Brass And Woodwind Instructor-Music/Marching

Seeking a professional, knowledgeable, goal-oriented, and motivating individual for the role of Brass/Woodwind Instructor. Instructor will work closely with the Director of Bands to implement a visual routine and technique for the ensemble.

Duties and Requirements:

Job requires a music undergraduate degree, prior knowledge and experience in working with students in marching band. Must have brass and woodwind experience.

Must attend band camp, all rehearsals, games, and other events per Director. Individual should be a strong leader in music and the marching arts with excellent skills in marching, and performance. Must have extensive experience in the marching arts (DCI, WGI, etc.). Must be willing to run visual and music warm ups and instruction for the drill learning process.

Individual should be able to run sectionals, drill learning process and ensemble if needed. Instructor should know how to use UDB app in order to teach the drill. Will be expected to work band camp, weekly rehearsals, 5 home games, and any time extended into conference or tournament time.

Required Experience:

Must have DCI, WGI or collegiate ensemble experience.
