Our teams of Creative, Program Management, and Production challenge industry norms and drive big, bold brand thinking while also being responsive to product culture and needs. Our focus is outbound creative experiences including Youtube/social, and Global Events. All outbound consumer-facing creative and global events work is creatively developed and/or managed by the Global Brand team. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience of over 18 million people. We scale with the support of external production partners and vendors, and take cues from our GoDaddy culture of moving fast, being bold, and iterating.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with our cross-functional teams across GoDaddy to enable us to more efficiently execute on Global Brand initiatives and deliverables, ensuring timely, high-quality output. You will establish requirements with internal and external stakeholders, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. We look for technical project managers who have a strong technical foundation and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Plan scope and feature set of programs. Help define the long-term vision & strategy for consistent go-to-market strategy for Global Brand programs
Manage complex business problems in terms of people, processes, and technology to enable Global Brand priorities and deliver best-in-class partner experience
Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of brand projects
Manage communication within and between business leaders representing a department focus area, internal engineering and external teams, including vendors
Effectively communicate program statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategies
Work cross-functionally to develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery
Deep dive into project requirements gaining understanding of needs for projects that may at times be ambiguous.
Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications and test plans
Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success
Drive internal optimization and process improvements across multiple teams and functions
B.S. in engineering discipline, physics, or equivalent experience
Experience working with technical teams
Problem-solving and organizational experience, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams
Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
Have relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo).
Understanding of engineering and creative best practices and digital creative development.
Experience managing large amounts of data.
Highly tech literate, should be able to master software and tools quickly.
Team player with refined and assertive leadership skills and ability to positively influence change through solid rationale, supporting data, and diplomacy.
