World Vision is looking for a Brand Specialist
Support brand and content management strategies in collaboration with the Director, Brand Development and Operations, with key creative teams and business units to ensure alignment and effectiveness. Review brand submissions and content analytics on behalf of the division and make informed recommendations to content creators and leadership. Help carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
Implement brand guidelines and creative strategies on public-facing creative, consulting with business owners and vendors to ensure brand voice and brand creative principles are appropriately applied.
Review published content, recommending optimizations to creative teams and leadership, and creating actionable, real-time metrics to provide direction for content planning teams.
Serve as a key contributor for one or more annual seasonal promotions.
Coordinate with vendors on brand reviews, manage vendor relationships and manage key content on the World Vision Brand site.
May hire, fire, train, counsel, evaluate and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public relations, related field or equivalent (eight years) work experience. In addition to education or education equivalent, requires five years of work experience in marketing, branding and/or communications, preferably for a large, complex, international organization. Direct experience working with agencies to develop brand-building communications is preferred.
