Job Description:

As a Brand Representative/Ambassador, you will assist us in conducting customer outreach, customer acquisition and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty for assigned client campaigns.

VIEW JOBS 5/22/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-08-20T00:00 High School Admissions Counselor Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 201802026424 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $44,200 - $54,950 Position Information Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, this position will organize and administer motivational and informational programs throughout California aimed at increasing UCR enrollment from high achieving high school students and a limited number of transfer students. Responsible for all phases of eligibility evaluation of freshmen applicants and a limited number of transfer applicants based on self-reported information, official transcripts, and other pertinent documents. As an official representative of the University, is available to prospective and admitted students, their families, the campus community, and the general public to interpret, enforce, and explain University policies and regulations. Represents the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the University at workshops, counselor conferences, college fairs, high school visits, and a variety of on and off-campus yield events. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Licenses License Requirement Valid Drivers License Preferred Experience Experience Requirement Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Required Demonstrated experience working with an on-line application evaluation tool. Preferred Demonstrated undergraduate experience in: a) recruitment of prospective students; b) evaluating applications, transcripts, and supplemental documentation; and c) making admissions decisions on prospective applicants, to include full consideration of academic records and subjective criteria. Preferred Special Conditions Special Condition Requirement Must possess or obtain a valid California Drivers License in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles in order to drive a vehicle for recruitment related needs. Required Hired applicant must successfully pass a background check through the FBI and the Department of Justice. Required Ability to work occasional weekends, evenings, early mornings and to travel occasionally. Required Minimum Requirements Skill in listening, anticipating, and responding to the needs of customers to achieve excellent customer service measured by outcomes rather than activities. Knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population. Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with schools, universities, community organizations and other institutions. Skill in organizing and setting priorities that accurately reflect the importance of the job responsibilities Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to identify relevant concerns in order to formulate logical and objective conclusions. Working knowledge of admissions requirements for campus/school/college. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to effectively manage a large volume of undergraduate admissions applications in multiple programs in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently in a fast-paced environment that is subject to constantly changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate statistical data and policy. Working knowledge of academic programs, including curricula, admissions requirements, and financial aid programs at UC.
