Primary Responsibility: The Brand Operations Supervisor has a primary responsibility of driving total store results through the product life cycle. Additionally, the Brand Operations Supervisor owns coaching associates to serve the customer as their top priority.

Key Responsibilities:
To perform this job effectively a Brand Operations Supervisor must be able to perform all the responsibilities satisfactorily.Culture and Customer:

  • Supports associate retention strategies.

Talent:

  • Personally executes coaching model for informal coaching to associates.

Brand:

  • Participates in overall merchandising presentations of each brand by reviewing brand guide maps, preparing merchandise for execution and participating in floorset activity.

  • Executes brand initiatives and strategies (Sales Education, Launches, Events, Brand Promotions, and Product Testing).

  • Executes the short term sell thru strategies with use of visual merchandising filters.

Operations:

  • Leads team processing and replenishment.

  • Responsible for merchandise flow standards, assessments and backroom organization.

  • Executes store out of stock exercises to identify gaps in product availability.

  • Executes product life cycle during open hours when assigned to sales floor.

  • Works with Store Leadership Team to understand payroll management and take appropriate action.

  • Executes sensoring guidelines in accordance to guidelines to reduce shrink.

  • Supports in leading physical inventory.

  • Completes transfers and damages.

  • Owns weekly ordering and organization of cash wrap including supplies, bags, tissue and Mobile Register charging stations.

  • Executes the cleaning tasks of the entire store including vent cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming.

  • If applicable, responsible for offsite storage audits and maintenance of offsite storage checklist.

All leadership roles at Victoria's Secret are responsible for:

  • Leading and demonstrating the company values within the store at all times.

  • Leading the entire sales floor while assigned to the role of Customer Sales Lead (CSL) and ensuring the team is delivering the best buying environment for the customer.

  • Gaining business insight by reviewing total store results daily, weekly and monthly and linking behaviors to actions.

  • Upholding positive associate relations that lead to engagement in the brand and the team.

  • Executing store opening and closing procedures and recovery.

  • Reinforcing store strategies to reduce shrink and build personal capabilities in asset protection.

  • Effectively managing and controlling expenses.

The Operations Team Manager position is exempt and reports to the Assistant Store Manager and/or Store Manager. Essential Functions: * Presents merchandise consistent with visual and merchandising standards * Ensures the timely floor setup, including signage, for promotional events and seasonal business activity * Ensures direction of playbook and seasonal merchandise meetings * Maintains floor and stock areas consistent with store standards * Work in conjunction with the Sales Team Manager (STM) and visual coordinators, where appropriate to support the overall management presentation of the store * Receiving Management * Supervise the team performing the process of unloading and sorting merchandise cartons received on trailers. Move new merchandise to the appropriate processing drop zone on the sales floor in a safe and timely manner utilizing equipment such as rolling flats, carts and z-racks. * Ensure Workload Planning and Forecast tools are being used weekly to drive productivity of the operations team. * Processing / Placement Management * Supervise the team performing merchandise unpacking and unwrapping to ensure readiness for merchandising on the sales floor. Includes applying sensor tags per company standard. * Properly merchandises new and replenished goods in accordance with plan-o-grams and store direction * Price Change Management/ Merchandise Return Management * Supervises the team executing all types of markdowns on the sales floor. Set sales and national ad events. * Ensures accuracy of signing and markdowns. * Supervises the team pulling and processing transfers, returns to vendors (RTV), damages, and mark out of stock (MOS) merchandise in partnership with LP. * Communicates price change inaccuracies and signage direction to the price change office via the help desk * Maintenance & Housekeeping Management * Supervise the team performing the following: * Maintenance tasks including light bulb replacement, ceiling tile replacement and replacing sales floor and maintenance supplies. * Removal of packing materials from processing drop zones. Bail cardboard and prepare plastic for recycling. * Ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor and the receiving area following processing on truck days. * Housekeeping includes being responsible for the cleanliness of the facility specifically the restrooms, associate lounge, and office areas. (Note: if applicable, specific stores may have 3rd party cleaning service) * Maintaining a safe shopping and working environment * Be responsible for communication to and from BSS Store Operations that would include but not limited to Facilities Management, JLL repair, ROCC the Dock, etc. * Responsible for the Workload Planning process. * Sales & Profit * Meet or exceed sales goal for entire store * Meet or exceed all operational goals including cartons per hour and shrinkage control. * Proper execution of all existing systems and procedures, and ownership of new system implementations and processes. * Non-Core Store Operations * Seasonal sets * Floor moves * Daily maintenance * Fill Ins * Daily Standards * Recovery * Driving support the RCC * Supporting the store to achieve Belk Rewards goal * General Business Performance * Ability to ring the register and provide relentless customer care * Support Team Development * People Management * Recruiting, interviewing, selecting and retaining quality associates and ensures all positions are filled in a timely manner. * Maintaining high store associate engagement through efficient, timely communications of policies and other information. Education / Experience Requirements: Position Contribution Level : Intermediate Level Minimum Education & Experience: * Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience in retail management. * Excellent supervisory, analytical and reasoning skills Preferred Education & Experience: Knowledge / Skills Requirements: * Proficient in computer business-related computer equipment and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc). Physical Requirements: * Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment. * Must be able to lift up to 72 lbs at floor level and/or team lift when necessary. * Ability to push / pull receiving equipment weighing up to 500 lbs such as rolling flats, z-racks and pallet jacks. * Ability to stand for long periods of time. * Ability to twist, bend and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, racks, and hooks and place items on floor, shelves, racks and hooks * Ability to work at a safe and steady pace.
