We are looking for a strong team player and leader to join us here as a Brand Marketing Manager; someone who will contribute to the achievement of Champs sales goals by driving and executing key product storytelling initiatives, planning, development, and implementation across internal and external touch-points in the U.S. and Canada.
Relocation availability for those not local to the market.
Participates in the development and execution of annual marketing plan and assists in building the Champs brand strategy
Partners with vendors and the marketing team to develop programming against key initiatives for ideation to execution to drive awareness and preference
Develop and execute marketing initiatives with cross functional business units to meet goals and objectives including the management of budgets and development of briefs
Manage monthly marketing calendar, including vendor support, media schedule and events. Coordinates Buyer contribution to the Marketing Calendar
Oversees content planning, creation and execution through in-house and contracted resources
Oversees social media and marketing activities
Collaborates on expense planning with Multi-Channel Marketing Manager and Brand Director
Coordinates with ChampsSports.com and Champs Marketing management to maximize sales and traffic on-line and in-store
Works with others in the Marketing Department to help develop and execute merchandising solutions
Reviews market research to anticipate marketing and consumer trends and competitive actions, and translates evolving needs of young athletes into new branding directions.
Researches and understands the consumer demographics for the Champs Sports brand
Develop and manage local opportunities around key markets and mall marketing
Communicates brand objectives and plans to all involved team members on a regular basis
Assist brand marketing with key strategic presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate and presents recommendations to changes in brand strategy
Maintain reporting/recapping on tier 1 projects
Other duties and responsibilities will consist of Brand Photography, Plano-gram Management, Ops Review and Board Review Content, In-Store Audio and Window Performance Reporting.
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of 5-7 years related professional marketing experience
Experience in Retail, CPG or Brand Marketing highly preferred
Passionate and Inspired by Music, Sports, Food, Art, Tech, Sneakers, Streetwear, Gaming and/or Fashion.
Knowledge of Youth Culture, preferred
Strong Communication skills
Strong Project Management skills
A Problem Solver who loves to innovate, create and can think outside of the box
Ability to prioritize and be highly organized
Team Player & Leader who can work cross functionally in a matrix environment
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Power-Point, Excel, Word
