Position Summary: The Home Building Group Brand Marketing Manager will lead and execute, independently and with support staff, the marketing campaigns/projects that progress the brand growth for Home Building Group and Clayton Built brands. This position and team will manage the brand strategy and guide the production and implementation of multi-purpose content, while working closely with the home building facilities, for internal and external audiences. The Brand Marketing Manager will guide the activities to influence and implement a long-term brand strategy for the Home Building Group to position the company as one of the largest single-family home builders in the United States.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Guide the initiative to increase Brand Awareness for Home Building Group as one of the largest and best single-family home providers in the country; ensure brand initiatives support HBG and Clayton's image.

  • Manage and implement the brand strategy for all HBG marketing and branding campaigns, guide support staff to assist with all activities.

  • Serve as gatekeeper for all branding pieces throughout the Home Building Group, especially for home building and supply facilities.

  • Develop Clayton Built brand into the desired brand choice for Manufactured housing customers.

  • Collaborate with enterprise marketing teams as well as site-built marketing teams to promote Home Building Group's brand and marketing strategies. Develop team members to participate and support.

  • Guide the process for the digital development team to create website platform for multiple business locations.

  • Analyze brand performance, competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and recommend strategies for brand based on research and analysis.

  • Use brand development and initiatives to promote product awareness and product sales; create roadmap for products.

  • Oversee the process to determine the weaknesses in marketing tactics and areas to be modified.

  • Work closely with product marketing, design team and support staff to develop brand and marketing strategies for products to be used across Home Building Group.

  • Work with support staff and external vendors to develop and execute marketing strategies.

  • Create, manage and execute both B2B marketing content and B2C marketing content, independently and with support staff.

  • Partner with home building facility leads to consult on marketing for their products, services and digital landscapes; advise facility leads on best practice; and ensure campaigns align with HBGs overall brand strategy.

  • Lead innovative marketing and branding tactics to position the Home Building Group as a leader in the industry.

  • Develop content series and pieces for Home Building Group website.

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop annual brand and marketing strategy and plans.

  • Responsible to provide marketing and brand analytics and reports to Director of Marketing & Communications.

  • Develop strategies that reach business partners (B2B) and customers (B2C) across multiple channels.

  • Oversee & create content for digital channels reaching B2C audiences: Email, Digital Advertising, Websites.

  • Build & pitch new marketing ideas and campaigns to the marketing and communications team.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, journalism, or related field of study required

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience required.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator and In Design

  • Demonstrated creative writing experience and AP style formatting and editing required

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience work on brand campaigns

  • Experience with social media, email marketing platforms and UI/UX on digital platforms required

  • Experience shooting and editing video content preferred

  • Experience with B2B and B2C storytelling

  • Strong relationship building skills for internal stakeholders and external contacts

  • Proven experience in developing impactful marketing content

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational ability

  • Ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions

  • Experience in building and guiding teams

  • Creative and strategy-driven thought process

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.

  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.

  • Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.

  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing.

Travel Requirements:

  • Potential travel up to 25% of time.
