Princess Cruises We are currently searching for a highly motivated Brand Marketing Manager who plans, implements, and analyzes integrated marketing programs which support prospective customer acquisitions, engagements with brands, and ultimately increases brand health metrics. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Marketing & Promotions, this person will work closely with other teams to ensure brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implementation of multi-channel new-to-brand and new-to-Princess acquisition strategies and tactics. Includes: creative development, messaging strategy, tactical deployment, and measurement of success.

  • Manages brand advertising media programs with national media agency of record.

  • Analyzes performance of offline & digital marketing initiatives biweekly/monthly with agency and makes recommendations for improving efficiencies.

  • Researches cruise line/travel/hospitality competitive advertising quarterly and presents recommendations for testing new messaging concepts.

  • Manages relationship with Discovery Communications and works with internal teams and external agencies to best promote awareness and generate value/revenue from this partnerships (i.e. VR experiences, exclusive shorex, unique programming onboard, boutiques products, etc)

  • Manages promotions agency to identify, review and approve sponsorship and cross promotional partnership marketing activities. Partnerships should align to strategy designed for new-to-brand, new-to-cruise acquisition needs.

  • Reviews opportunities that are sourced outside of promotions agency (for example direct relationships and/or sourced from media agency) and manages implementation of approved programs (e.g., AARP, Avocados from Mexico, Harper Collins).

  • Oversees implementation and ensures legal compliance of sponsorship and cross promotional partnership promotions.

  • Manages the creative development and implementation of contest and sweepstakes promotions.

  • Liaisons with legal department to ensure rules and regulations are accurate.

  • Provides clear and consistent guidance to direct reports and staffers to establish and manage priorities, identify and resolve obstacles, ensure adherence to schedule and strategies.

  • Trains and coaches direct reports to fulfill assigned responsibilities, providing feedback as needed to drive growth, skills development and effective work styles. Writes and conducts effective performance reviews; sets goals and monitors achievement; identifies training needs; disciplines as needed.

  • Reviews and approves invoices up to $5,000.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in business, marketing or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Minimum of 7-10+ years marketing experience, either as a corporate client or in a marketing agency.

  • Experience in planning and strategizing integrated communications programs across multiple media is critical.

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

  • Strong management skills with the ability to assign responsibilities, allocate resources, and direct corrective action is needed.

  • The ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and stay organized is a must.

  • Strong interpersonal skills required for communication with management, other departments, agencies, designers, and colleagues.

  • Requires the ability to negotiate, present and resolve complex and controversial issues.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel needed.

  • Should be organized, managing multiple programs simultaneously, and have analytical skills.

  • Passion and drive to develop a team through coaching, oversight, and mentorship.

Preferences

  • Experience with online, offline and strategic partnerships is preferred.

Princess Cruises is currently searching for a highly motivated Director, Casino Marketing & Card Programs who will lead the casino strategic planning, marketing campaigns and analytics for the casino programs for Princess Cruise Lines (PCL) in collaboration with the Global Casino Operations (GCO) team and direct the PCL co-branded credit & gift cards program. Responsibilities * Oversee the planning and achievement of casino and credit card/gift card financial and strategic objectives within annual budget and forecast goals * Annual budget and forecast planning, campaign analysis, and development and implementation of marketing strategies and programs * Develop and implement a well-defined and actionable annual marketing and business plan * Manage a direct team of a Sr. Manager, Partner Operations & Analysis (casino focused) and Sr. Manager, Onboard Revenue (credit/gift cards), co-manage integrated marketing campaign analyst and work with key members of the integrated, onboard marketing and commercial teams for all casino and credit/gift card marketing strategies * Define and implement casino marketing strategy & campaign plan, in collaboration with GCO & PCL marketing teams * In collaboration with commercial product teams, develop pricing and promotional strategies that support business needs * Oversee branded credit & gift card strategy in partnership with the Sr. Manager, Onboard Revenue (credit/gift cards) * Establish and track fiscal goals and marketing budgets ensuring regular analysis of campaigns and initiatives to achieve goals * Manage PCL's OCEAN growth strategy & planning as it relates to Casino, Credit and Gift Cards * Oversee development and execution of direct mail, email and advertising annual plan in collaboration with appropriate teams * Direct outside partners/agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns and maintain consistent brand image throughout promotional materials and events * Lead market research and analysis initiatives to address the competitive marketplace, including segmentation and customer insights * Build learnings and new competencies within PCL marketing teams to benefit current and future projects * Coordinate cross-marketing learnings, best practices and initiatives with sister brands and strategic partners, as appropriate * Liaise with GCO's Partnership Marketing team in the acquisition of valuable land-based casino customers * Work with GCO to optimize the VIP Marketing function, which includes maximization of revenue driven from our best players Requirements * Bachelor of Business, Science or related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred * Significant management and leadership experience in casino marketing, promotions, direct marketing, and player development * Experience in credit card or gift card operations is a plus * Strong CRM skills – development of direct/email programming * Promotion Development – ability to successfully develop and analyze onboard promotional activity * Player Development (for casino) – ability to maximize our existing player base and acquisition of new players * Strong analytics background – ability to continually evaluate program success/failure to maximize net revenue * Strong collaborative skills - ability to lead, convince, sell-in and update partners * Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate views crisply and convincingly to management, subordinates and vendors * Current understanding of digital marketing initiatives as well as social media relationship strategies, comprehensive understanding of player rating systems, casino marketing and gaming policies, procedures and theories, and prior involvement in successful customer loyalty programs * Current knowledge of database, data management and analytics required for successful direct marketing campaigns, knowledge of appropriate financial management tools, information systems and applications * Ability to create and excel in a team-oriented environment, build relationships and credibility with brand marketing and onboard revenue teams * Ability to drive execution of marketing initiatives, ability to personally solve problems and take decisive action in rectifying issues, must be well-organized and rigorous in the prioritization of projects so that they may be completed on schedule and within budget * Outstanding business judgment, able to rapidly gain the confidence and respect of the organization, soliciting their ideas and suggestions, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities * Ability to recruit supporters, develop and motivate people to achieve and work together as a team * Strong personal and professional ethical values and impeccable integrity * Ability to travel, both domestically as well as internationally, up to 15% * Ability to work beyond normal business hours occasionally to support business needs or projects Benefits * Flexible Work Schedule!
