Role Description

The Global Brand Marketing team is responsible for articulating and telling the Dropbox brand story through authentic, purpose-built content distributed via; owned, earned, and paid channels, strategic brand partnerships, and culturally insightful thought-leadership efforts. We partner with teams across all of Dropbox to gather customer insights, determine our brand positioning and strategy, maximize our Brand's potential, and manage major campaign launches.

Dropbox is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator to join our Global Brand Marketing team in San Francisco, CA. We're looking for a creatively ambitious, performance-driven candidate to lead the execution of strategic Brand Marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand Marketing, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of paid media and creative advertising functions, possess an operational mindset, and have superb interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will work very closely with the Dropbox Brand Marketing Manager, external agency partners, cross-functional teams, and leadership team on projects ranging from project managing global advertising campaigns to executing content partnerships.


With over half a billion users and an ambitious business and growth strategy, Dropbox is looking for a proven, collaborative brand marketer whose responsibilities will include:

  • Executing complex, cross-functional, and cross-channel Brand Marketing programs

  • Evaluating program effectiveness with ongoing reporting and analysis, and providing recommendations for optimizing/improving campaigns

  • Interfacing and collaborating comfortably with leadership, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Sales, Analytics, and external vendor agencies and partners


  • 4+ years of relevant experience and a record of successful cross-channel marketing campaigns

  • A strong track record of developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional internal and external relationships (ie agencies and brand/media partners)

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns, in a fast-paced, high volume environment

  • Scrappy, game for any task, and able to adapt to change

  • Ability to think creatively and come up with out-of-the-box solutions

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership

  • Passionate about Marketing and applying intellectual curiosity to solve problems

  • Express business acumen and understanding of marketing impact on business/growth objectives

Metabolic acidosis is a chronic condition commonly caused by CKD that is believed to accelerate the progression of CKD, increase the risk of muscle wasting and cause the loss of bone density. Tricida's New Drug Application (NDA) for veverimer is currently under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA has assigned a Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) goal date of August 22, 2020.* Tricida was founded in August 2013 by a seasoned management team that has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of therapeutics, with substantial expertise in developing polymers for the treatment of kidney-related diseases. SUMMARY: We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Sr Manager/Assoc Director, Patient/Caregiver and Expanded Audiences – US Marketing. Reporting to Sr Director of Marketing. The Sr Manager/Associate Director, Patient, Caregiver and Expanded Audiences – US Marketing, is responsible for the implementation of activities critical to the brand, both non-promotional and promotional efforts. They will have a direct impact on launch readiness & competitive readiness execution for new a product moving from pipeline to commercial entry. This individual will work with cross functional teams to ensure non-promotional and promotional imperatives, critical for launch and brand uptake are executed. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Facilitate the development of the Brand's pre and post launch plans and programs ensuring consistency with brand strategy * Lead and direct the design, development and launch of strategic and tactical marketing plans to patients, caregivers, related advocacy groups and expanded audiences (e.g. nurses, dieticians, office staff) * Develop and implement marketing messages (product and disease) directed towards patients incorporating health literacy and adult learning principles * Develop, implement and evaluate promotional (product and disease) materials, programs and activities targeted at patients, caregivers and expanded audiences, inclusive of both personal and non-personal promotions initiatives * Develop and execute digital patient/caregiver and expanded audience channel strategy and goals * Champion patient-centricity and share best practices across the organization * Develop and project manage promotional peer to peer resources for the sales force * Partner with Business Analytics to define success metrics and analyze performance of peer to peer programming effectiveness on an on-going basis; striving to optimize marketing programs * Demonstrate strong business acumen skills, as role is responsible for managing multiple initiatives/program budgets, timelines, processes and procedures * Drive attainment of all quarterly & annual US Performance Metrics and Launch Key Performance Indicators Actively participate in key business planning process, including: Strategic Brand Planning, Launch Planning, Tactical Planning, Competitive Readiness, & Quarterly Performance Reviews * Foster collaborative relationships throughout the entire organization * Manage external partners (vendors/agencies, meeting planners, etc.) to ensure integration and consistency of strategies, messages and tactics * Exemplify a solutions-oriented culture of teamwork, accountability, strong performance and excellence in competency and character * Exhibit knowledge of, and adhere to, all applicable healthcare laws and regulations, industry practices and TRICIDA Inc policies related to product marketing and promotion EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: * A minimum of Bachelor's degree in marketing, health care, business administration or related with at least 4-5 years of progressively responsible experience within marketing and sales related functions (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered) * Understanding of creation of materials and programs to support non-promotional and promotional launch initiatives * Commercial experience in biopharma, and motivated by the prospect of growth in an early stage entrepreneurial company setting * Strong interpersonal skills required to build/maintain effective relationships internally and externally to manage alliances and collaborations with vendors, suppliers and partners * Demonstrated good judgment, ethical behavior, decisiveness, strategic vision, and exceptional interpersonal skills * Clear thinker, quickly responds to and implements change * Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast paced and evolving environment * Nephrology experience a strong preference Tricida is located in South San Francisco, CA.
