A Brand Manager is responsible for developing an effective brewer relationship management program with assigned supplier(s) that adopts best-in-industry practices and aligns key suppliers needs with Andrews' strategic priorities. The Brand Manager will drive results by ensuring resources are optimized and focused on profit driven activities while supporting company goals and principles. This role is part of the Marketing/ Brand Management team.

Here's more of what you will do… (OK, not all in one day!)

  • Creates, implements and executes category and brand strategies that are linked to the company's strategic priorities.

  • Works with all sales teams on Customer Centric Planning process.

  • Creates effective distribution plans and manages SKU optimization.

  • Collaborates with purchasing team to actively monitor inventory for assigned brands and adjusts as needed.

  • Assists National Accounts and sales teams in executing and rolling out new initiatives, products or programs to drive performance improvement through measurable results and impact in both On and Off Premise accounts.

  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with assigned brewing partners and works to develop annual sales and marketing plans for On and Off Premise Sales teams.

  • Implements and executes marketing strategies for assigned brands derived from the annual sales and marketing plans to include events, programs, social media and sponsorships to build brand profitability.

  • Manages the marketing expenses to the budget.

  • Monitors market trends and keeps up with the competitive products in the marketplace to identify opportunities. Based on insights, implement tactics to achieve desired brand building outcome.

  • Stays abreast of current trends and future industry insights.

  • Tracks consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales trends, distribution and pricing.

  • Collaborates with the Commercial Strategies team to utilize and integrate consumer-driven data to achieve long term growth of assigned brands and provide sales teams with closed loop programs.

  • Works collaboratively with the Andrew's On and Off Premise Sales and National Accounts teams to evaluate and plan channel specific needs, business opportunities and sales materials.

  • Inspects retail accounts to make sure standards are met and provides real time coaching in the market to sales team members.

  • Delivers on-time accurate monthly planning documentation.

  • Attends and actively participates in monthly planning meetings.

  • This is a multi-level role, levels are based on overall size (revenue, portfolio/SKU variance, volume, etc.) and relationship level required with assigned supplier partner.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role...

  • Minimum 5 Years Progressive Sales, Marketing or Brand Management Experience; Including Developing and Executing Sales/Marketing Plans

  • Two to Five Years Marketing Experience in Developing and Executing Marketing Strategy Across Multiple Beer Brand; Event Planning

  • Minimum Three Years in a Sales Leadership Role; Leading a Team in Day-to-Day Sales Activities

  • Strong Relationship Building and Communication Skills

  • Demonstrated Proficiency in MS Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables and PowerPoint

  • Understanding of and the Ability to Work with Multiple Data Sets
