We are Obagi. Fearless. Together. What We Need: Obagi is seeking a strategic, driven and creative Brand Manager to manage a portfolio of product franchises.
This role will be instrumental in planning and executing the brand strategy and plans on the US market to drive growth. This role will collaborate closely with all marketing departments and sales to deliver compelling integrated marketing plans. What You’ll Do:
Brand Management: In alignment with Global Brand Strategy, help establish the US Brand Strategy for your portfolio of products/franchises to drive growth and gain market shares. Brand analytics: continually assess and share product and franchise performance (sell-in/sell-out) to derive actionable insights and drive data-driven marketing decisions.
Portfolio management: manage the operational execution and communication of launches, discontinuations and product reformulations. Pricing strategy: with a clear understanding of the competitive landscape and brand price positioning, make recommendations for existing products and new launches. Brand image: in partnership with creative, bring the brand to life across touchpoints in a cohesive and impactful way.
Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all marketing activities, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines Go-to-market: Become the expert and brand champion for your portfolio, partnering with all departments to achieve brand objectives Help develop and execute strategic integrated marketing initiatives that drive business growth PR: work closely with our PR agency and Influencer/Social teams to establish and execute compelling awareness plans, from events to partnerships. Campaign Execution: contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, content marketing, public relations and in store POS Performance Measurement:
Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement Present marketing plans and business results as needed to diverse audiences: internal teams, agencies, clients. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform decision-making Develop a deep knowledge of our customers: end consumers and professionals Attend key conferences/symposiums to gain understanding and insights of the aesthetic/dermatological market Gather insights and provide market input to the global marketing team to help drive innovation development Financial:
Forecast planning in collaboration with Supply Chain & Sales Operations Manage marketing budget: build and advocate a bottoms-up budget proposal to achieve the brand’s objectives. Ensure ongoing monthly tracking of expenses. What You’ll Need:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, International Business, Communication, or related field. MBA preferred. 4 years of relevant industry (beauty) related marketing experience with a focus on Brand Management. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to details; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with a collaborative mindset Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly, with a passion for creative problem solving. Possess an energetic, driven, positive attitude. Physical Requirements:
