Assist with marketing initiatives and programs that support brand maintenance, promotion, advertising and sales of National General Insurance's products and services to consumers. Responsible for maintaining relationships with stakeholders and stewarding projects with cross-functional internal services teams such as the Sales Operations, Facilities, Web, Accounting/Finance, Digital/Social, Product and Marketing teams, as well as external agencies/vendors. This position requires the management of multiple deadlines at once and prioritization of projects based on organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the official Brand steward to support development and execution of brand communication strategies to ensure the ideal customer journey is met
Manage ongoing evolution and refinement of Brand strategy: positioning and architecture (in conjunction with consumer insights) through a variety of tactics with a focus on all advertising, digital, social and PR plans
Develop Brand campaign briefs that are communicated internally and externally and partner with agency partners to develop advertising, credibility and consumer engagement campaigns
Monitor competitor activity and provide regular competitive intelligence updates
Partner with the Art Manager to lead the direction of creative content (digital and social, web, email, broadcast, etc.)
Work closely with e-commerce and content teams as well as local marketing teams to ensure optimal consumer journey (in store and online)
Work with the VP Customer Experience & Brand Innovation, Brand Director and Data Science team to help develop annual strategies and tactics, and monitor the ongoing performance to ensure budgets are used to meet or exceed expected business results
Anticipate trends/market conditions and take appropriate action on a timely basis
Able to work cross functionally within a mixed matrix organization
Assist the VP, Customer Experience and Brand Innovation and Brand Director by leading various ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
Minimum Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
5+ years of marketing or advertising experience in Product Marketing or Brand Management
Strong computer and software skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; have a demonstrated ability to build and deliver presentations to executives
Proven marketing experience (planning, organization and execution) with responsibility for campaign budget
Exhibits a basic understanding of all areas of advertising/marketing (digital, social, web, broadcast, email, etc.)
Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly; always willing to roll up sleeves and get things done
Highly organized and detail oriented; able to own and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
Creative, pro-active, self-motivated, results-oriented, highly collaborative, team player, and be passionate about marketing
