Job Summary

The Brand Marketing Manager supports the development and execution for brand strategy from brand planning through marketing activation. This role plays a pivotal role in helping people get to know, trust, and recognize us, building affinity and attraction for the OPTAVIA and Medifast brands. The person in this role will help develop brand and marketing content and work in collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure consistent delivery and stewardship of our brands.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of the corporate and consumer brands.

  • Helps develop and drive consistent messaging strategy and creative execution for integrated marketing campaigns including, but not limited to, product commercialization, PR activations, social and marketing campaigns.

  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports program results to ensure strategies and tactics are working and to optimize business outcomes.

  • Works with creative agencies to support brand strategy through creative integrated marketing plans and brand asset development.

  • Demonstrates thought leadership, best practice sharing, competitive benchmarking, and expertise on our evolving landscape.

  • Establishes key partnerships, builds relationships, and fosters strong cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners, agencies, and field marketing team to expand our brand voice, reach and impact in the marketplace with key audiences.

  • Project management with cross-functional teams.

  • Supports projects as a brand advocate and ambassador with a mastery of our brand principles, mission, and communication goals.

  • Partners with internal departments on various projects including digital program support, consumer, and competitive research, etc.


Brand Manager will report to the Senior Brand Manager and will have no direct reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 4-year Marketing or Business Management degree required.

  • 5+ years of brand management and/or marketing experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience with cross-functional teams.

  • Passionate about delivering brand growth and driving company mission forward.

  • Experience managing marketing campaigns, from development through launch.

  • Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities in a timely manner and with little supervision.

  • Ability to problem solve and find alternate solutions to keep projects on track and on strategy.

  • Strong project management, time management, and analytical skills with an ability to build plans and execute.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally.

  • Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and presentation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Creative eye, entrepreneurial spirit, and an insatiable sense of curiosity.

In the TS&amp;P portion of the role, you'll own and support the planning, writing, editing and amplification of internal TS&amp;P related comms activities that enhance integration across a diverse group of teams and build a strong internal TS&amp;P brand across the firm.
