As a Brand Manager for Pralines & Seasonals you will be involved in the seasonal Milka activations for and not limited to Valentines, Easter and Christmas. It is essential that we are bold in asking the questions others are afraid to ask. Courageous in how we find new ways to work with each other and our partners.

You'll be focused on why the brand exists today, taking cultural and competitive factors into account, and using your knowledge to unlock potential for Milka (internationally) and Figaro (locally) by influencing the whole Chocolate category in Czech Republic and Slovakia through implementing innovation and influencing brand strategies. And you'll also see how Marketing fits into the bigger picture being involved in bigger projects. Which will mean getting to grips with how our business works, our best practices and how technology affects what we do.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Implement global strategies for Milka, develop optimum local strategies

  • Develop local activations for Seasonals (Xmas and Easter) and communicate pralines in relevant occasions across the year.

  • Develop local activations national campaigns, ATL BTL

  • Lead and create the content for one of the best Instagram profiles in Czech Republic

  • Cooperate with local influencers

  • Develop strategy (incl. portfolio, pricing, value optimization) & marketing plans and monitor brand performance

  • Full responsibility for media and local campaigns budget

  • Ensure excellent, timely and cost compliant execution of planned initiatives

  • Inspire passion for the brand throughout the organization

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter personalities, who are open to embrace the challenge of managing part of chocolate business through development of strategies and execution of programs for the respective parts of Chocolate business.

What we expect from you:

  • University degree (preferably in economics, marketing or management)

  • Passion for Global Brands

  • Proven experience in Corporate Brand or Trade Marketing

  • Self-driven and entrepreneurial, with strong leadership skills

  • Strong conceptual thinking and perspective

  • Commercial acumen, P&L literate

  • Excellent communication skills, incl. working in remote teams

  • Perseverance and ability to work under pressure

  • Good understanding and application of marketing concepts

  • Practical experience in dealing with agencies (packaging, promotion, advertising)

  • MS Office fluency

  • Fluent in English

  • Fluent in Czech or Slovak

Role overview Senior Brand Manager Biscuits leads, develops and represents Local Herigate brands on local level. Ensures the strategic, execution and tactical aspects to deliver volume, net revenue, gross margin, market share and selected image attributes in both countries Czech and Slovak Republic. Furthermore, is an active member of country/regional category team, creates and shares best practices. Main Responsibilities * Develop marketing strategy together with Marketing Manager, in line with the Mondelez Europe objectives in order to ensure development of Local Heritage portfolio. * Independently convert agreed category marketing strategy into portfolio related activities. * Develop consumer, competition & market insight through regular observation and analysis of the market and competitors, early recognition of changing market situations and recommendation of appropriate marketing action. * Manage launch of New Product Development on the market. * Monitor project budget, timings and control project performance for brand / all category brands. * Propose budget and forecast for the brand / all category brands in due time, based on sales forecast, market shares, distribution, market research, changes, improvements on adaptations required on the product (recipe, quality, packaging, etc.). * Monitor profitability of Local Heritage portfolio. * Manage the brand team (1 direct report) in terms of education & motivation. * Min. 5 years of solid experience in a commercial function of a FMCG company, ideally in Marketing. * Experience in Brand Strategy Development and portfolio strategy management. * Team player with great interpersonal skills. * People management, project management & leadership of cross – functional teams. * Solid strategic thinking skills. * Flexible in business decisions, being able to give an opinion quickly, in line with brand strategy. * Strong analytical (numerical) skills, ability to quickly assess data from different sources. * Up-to-date knowledge of consumer products markets, including advertising, distribution channels and similar as well as media process in Czech and Slovak markets. * University degree, ideally with specialization in Marketing or Business Administration. * Fluent English and Czech – spoken & written We pride ourselves on having a high performing and collaborative culture where we offer support and development to enhance your career and develop your knowledge and skills.
