The Brand Manager drives the business by creating, deploying and managing new value propositions. These value propositions may be new products or services or new ways to present the existing products and services. Examples of these new value propositions are Cox Panoramic Wifi and StraightUp Internet. This candidate will identify new opportunities, turn them into enterprise innovation projects, and lead the project to launch and beyond.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Uncover innovation opportunities based on market data and quantitative and qualitative consumer research.
Construct and validate customer-centric, compelling, competitive and clearly expressed innovation ideas.
Act as Project Manager to steward innovation projects through the Cox process, ensuring that they move forward quickly and effectively.
Design and own the implementation of the Customer Experience. Ensure the focus remains customer centric throughout the process.
Responsible for developing strong value proposition messaging and launch strategy for key projects.
Develop and implement marketing campaign: advertising creative, media strategy and deployment.
Manage agencies or vendors contracted to assist in value proposition development, creative strategy and/or creative development.
Develop, monitor and report on feedback and success KPIs.
Responsible for the success of launched innovations as long as necessary and/or until the project is ready to transition into the business.
Identify and act on opportunities to improve market performance (i.e. Customer Experience, Digital Experience, Channel Strategy, Digital Advertising).
Skills and Qualifications
o Creation and implementation of digital marketing
o Design and implementation of customer experiences and/or UX/UI projects
Candidate may come from a product/service company, agency or consultancy
Demonstrated capability to understand and leverage Consumer Insights
Ambitious self-starter able to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven success in project management
Degree in related discipline strongly desired
Digital/social marketing experience
Experience as a generalist marketer
Experience working at an agency or managing an agency
