This position is located remotely.

We are seeking an experienced CPG Brand Manager who is passionate about driving brand growth and is in-tune and experienced with current Marketing trends to expand a major strategic Bimbo Bakeries USA brand/Category

  • Thomas' Breakfast. Along with these duties, the position will be responsible for providing strategic direction to all creative and PR agencies. It is expected from participants to have vast experience in Consumer and Product Research and able to process insights in a compelling and actionable way. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, developing the overarching communication strategy of the brand to drive growth in Household penetration, volume, share and income for the Business.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Support the Brand Marketing group with the overarching communication strategy of the brand

Lead and manage the Creative, PR and Packaging design agencies

Liaison between the Marketing team and the MCO (Marketing Center of Excellence)-Research team for all major Market and Consumer research initiatives for the brand

Liaison between the MCO-Packaging and Graphics team for all major and minor improvements on the packaging of the brand's portfolio

Lead of multiple strategic cross-functional teams including, Research & Development, Commercialization, Manufacturing, Packaging, finance, Procurement and Multiple 3rd party agencies/vendors for the development of T1-T2 new product initiatives

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of the brand's consumer programs in all BBU geographies (Business Units)

Sales presentations, sell sheets and field communication development.

Willingness to travel, approx. 30% of the time to all Business Units in the country

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field. MS or MBA preferred.

  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

  • 5 plus years of experience, CPG preferred.

  • Proven experience in dealing with wide range of media production projects (Video, radio, print and copy)

  • Market and Consumer insights research experience will be considered as a plus

  • Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources and use that data to convey compelling selling stories/solutions for the sales force.

  • Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Margin Minder or Micro-strategies if internal)

  • Proficient level in IRI suite (Unify)

  • Working knowledge of marketing plan development and execution.

  • Examples of prior brand strategy work will be requested, along with references

This is an exciting time to join our team, a highly innovative brand with a rich heritage, as we evolve the brand to meet the ever-changing needs of our consumers and customers to unlock sources of growth.</p><p>The purpose of this position is to support all the activities entitled on managing the Bimbo brand product portfolio, communication and promotional efforts, cross communication with the sales team and key vendors, &amp; support the achievement of the brand's objectives.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS</p><ul><li><p>Conduct data analysis of business results and recommend appropriate course of action. Monitor KPIs and provide in depth analysis by product line, SKU, sales region and financial impact to determine opportunities for growth, in line with portfolio role. Provide relevant reports, gather key competitive intelligence, distill key learnings, develop recommendations, and report findings to team.</p></li><li><p>Track and monitor the brand's KPI's such as sales, returns, household penetration, market share, social and digital performance &amp; competitors' performance.</p></li><li><p>Manage and update the brand's website,</p></li><li><p>Develop and monitor our Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Google Analytics.</p></li><li><p>Support and manage Integrated Digital Marketing efforts from curating and overseeing the brand's content development, consumer digital engagement, consumer conversion, and influencer campaigns.</p></li><li><p>Lead cross functional teams to deliver projects on time and on-budget.
