Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Brand Development Administrative Coordinator located in Boone, NC. This role will serve as the primary receptionist for the Operation Christmas Child Department, answering calls and admitting visitors to the Operation Christmas Child building. This role also responds to donors representing the brand of Operation Christmas Child through email correspondence. Lead administrative process for the Brand Development team and handle special projects as needed, ensuring greater efficiency in day-to-day operations. A day in the life of a Brand Development Administrative Coordinator:

In the role of Brand Development Administrative Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

  • Serve as the primary receptionist for the OCC Department and a) answer general information calls transferred from the front desk; b) receive calls to the OCC headquarters toll-free number; c) receive calls for three field offices whose volunteers are directed to use the OCC toll-free number; and d) follow-up on voice mail messages left on the 800# and messages received after hours at the front desk

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of ministry activities and serve as a voice for Operation Christmas Child to volunteers, project leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Correspond via email and letters to share the project's impact and answer questions and concerns

  • Admit visitors to the Operation Christmas Child Building, and a) alert staff members of their arrival, as needed; b) greet general visitors to the ministry, answer project questions, and hand out materials, locate a staff member to give a tour of Processing Center when requested; c) redirect visitors to Samaritans Purse front desk for issues not related to Operation Christmas Child

  • Oversee administrative tasks for the Brand Development Team, including scheduling meetings, travel, expenses, etc

  • Assist with general security issues, such as informing visitors and vendors they must be escorted when in the building

  • Sends weekly and monthly reports to the Operation Christmas Child Executive Leadership

  • Monitor and report email trends. Enter correspondence in the donor management database

  • Accept shoebox gifts dropped off at the receptionists desk and have donors complete shoebox drop-off log

  • All other duties as assigned
