Your Role
As a Brand Designer at Gensler, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique environmental experiences across a diverse media landscape. You are passionate about helping clients enhance their brand and business performance through design, and adept at developing creative, up-front design concepts. Join a team of thinkers and doers who help client to express their story through graphic and branded communications.
This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will be expected to live in or relocate to the Denver, CO area.
What You Will Do
Work with a multi-disciplinary team of brand strategists, designers, and architects to design graphics, branded environments, signage and wayfinding solutions that connect people to place for diverse client projects.
Conduct research for the organizational, cultural and physical context of a project
Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients
Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two and three-dimensional built environments
Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD, print, or digital applications
Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries
Mentor junior designers through collaboration and production experience
Work with fabricators to review shop drawings, samples and final installation
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field
5+ years of experience in Brand Development, Signage Design and Wayfinding creating detailed design intents, message schedules & location plans based on architectural construction documents
Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments
Detailed oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Strong wayfinding planning experience including conducting research, site survey, developing wayfinding strategies, and documenting design solutions (sign type drawings, message schedules & location plans)
Proficiency drawing in scale and familiarity with architectural construction documents, elevations, plans, and shop drawings
Excellent communication skills and experience as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teams
Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized
Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types
Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
Revit, CadTools, Sketchup, Rhino, or Enscape experience a plus, but not required

Compensation is based upon experience and estimated range is $80,000 - $100,000 annually + bonuses + benefits
