The Brand Content Strategist will support the global commercial marketing team in creating and delivering engaging content through traditional and digital tactics. Ensures brand positioning follows corporate standards, and is consistently articulated in all forms of written communication, while modifying the communication for the channel application. Expands marketing content by repurposing and rewriting targeted at engaging prospect is the various stages of the customer buyer's journey.

  • Proficient writer. Able to adapt style to medium and tone required to convey complex scientific and clinical data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner

  • Write clear and persuasive copy for website, brochures, ads, and other means used to engage our customer base

  • Organize, prioritize and multi-task a variety of writing and proofreading assignments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead projects to deadlines

  • Partner with internal marketers and stakeholders to deliver creative concepts and messaging that persuasively convey Beckman Coulter's value proposition and achieves marketing objectives in a timely manner

  • Participate in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; Collaborate with content team to translate strategies outlined in creative briefs into engaging concepts and copy for various business units; generate creative concepts that support marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.

  • Leverage best practices for effective concept and messaging development and measurement.

  • Ensure excellence in messaging consistency and execution by proofing stakeholder and own content

  • Familiarize self with products and services, and target audience in order to create and adapt copy to the appropriate target customer and vertical

  • Utilize internal content database as well as cross-functional teams to aggregate individual product features, benefits, and claims when writing technical copy for collateral.

  • Drive adoption of Beckman Coulter's brand standards internally and externally

  • Bachelor's Degree - Marketing, English, Journalism, Advertising or similar and 3-5 years related experience in creating messaging to scientific customers.

  • Life sciences, medical, diagnostics, pharma, or healthcare industry preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex, abstract science-based subjects and express them in a straightforward, consumer-friendly way

  • Responds well and stays positive to constructive feedback and creative change requests

The US Multi-Channel Engagement Hub is being created to unify the pursuit across business units (Biomedicines, Oncology, Diabetes) of evolving our marketing practices at Lilly for how we interact with customers who are health care providers. The vision is to create an industry leading MCE capability utilizing modern communication channels within the customer workflow to help us create a much more valued, relevant, and integrated customer experience that also drives more efficient business results. Much progress has been made and new capabilities developed, but we now need to take MCE to the next level. The MCE Strategy Manager is a core marketing role and the primary contact from the MCE team to partner with brand teams in leading them through all phases of MCE campaign development, execution, and measurement. The MCE Strategy Lead deeply understands brand strategy to collaborate with several internal subject matter experts, agencies and other external partners, to run industry leading multichannel campaigns engaging health care providers. The key job responsibilities include: * Lead collaboratively with brand team through all steps of the MCE Planning framework – Segmentation, Investment modeling, Message flow/Content strategy, Channel Mix, Campaign Design, Measurement plan. Create planning deliverables for brand review and approval. * Partner with experts across Lilly and agencies to ensure high quality MCE campaign plan – AOR, Media Services/Agency, Digital agency, Analytics, IT, Etc. Write MCE Campaign Brief to align expectations. * Partner with the Campaign Assoc. through planning phase to ensure they have required deliverables and clarity to develop execution plans for the campaign. * Oversee campaign execution, partnering with Campaign Assoc., and keep brand well informed on progress. * Identify areas to optimize campaign such as customer focus, content adjustments, channel mix, and campaign engagement sequencing to improve customer engagement, customer experience or volume/ROI. * Understand brand performance vs. competitive set to ensure we set the bar to lead the customer experience. * Share deep technical expertise in MCE principles and approaches to enable the team to move through MCE processes effectively. * Identify and help remove organizational barriers to designing and executing the intended campaigns. * Influence and negotiate resources to support MCE goals for brands relative to the broader business. * Identify opportunities to improve MCE processes and approaches overall and work across BU's to standardize improvements. * Influence internal "systems" to enable MCE Implementation across functions as necessary in partnership with MCE lead team 45874BR Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree * 2-4 years of marketing experience (preference for multi-channel and digital experience) * Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
