Job Description: The Brand Ambassdor is a critical role on the sales floor as he/she is on the front line and the direct link between the Product and the Customer. Duties include handling operational procedures, supervising cleaning, and keeping the entry area clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality customer service.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets. Provides high quality customer service.

  • Ensures floor and stock areas are consistent with store standards.

  • Processes shipments; stocks merchandise; performs inventory

  • Performs visual merchandising and audits

  • Executes non-negotiable standards of store operation including stocking, cleaning and merchandising

  • Deters loss prevention issues from occurring

  • Reviews, processes, and logs incoming products; maintains product by managing ongoing inventory for all fixtures and ensures other team members are executing inventory priorities during shifts.

  • Update inventory 1. Bag list 2. shoes list 3. Order packaging supplies

  • Organizes the stockroom for sales efficiencies

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.

  • 1-2 years of retail experience with accurate inventory handling.

  • Must be available to work during store operating hours of 8:00am 1:00am.

  • Critical Skills:
    Fluency in English and other languages as required by location.

This role is to establish strong relationships with Budtenders and consumers. Surterra Wellness (Surterra) is one of the nation's fastest growing health and wellness companies. With vertical operations in Florida, Texas and Nevada, and a pending launch in California, Surterra brings a broad portfolio of high-quality brands to meet the needs of individuals who choose the natural medical relief and wellness enhancing benefits of cannabis products. Surterra is planning on bringing four brands to market in California in 2019. CORE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Work collectively with regional teams to execute fun and professional retail and tradeshow events, training, and consumer interactions * Hold 12 events a week building great relationships with hundreds of consumers * Establish strong relationships with Budtenders through education, incentives, visits, snack drop-offs, etc. * Increase awareness and advocacy of the brand with consumers by hosting events at dispensaries; lead connectivity with their region by engaging consumers with education and story-telling * Obtain video and photo content of in-store services to post to Coral Reefer social channels and promotes client social channels. * Engage with fans on social media by posting 10 posts a week * Provide Budtender and consumer feedback to the team * Merchandise stores to create polished, professional, eye-catching displays for the brand * Sell products at demos through budtender and consumer education * Work closely with sales and marketing teams to brainstorm and conceptualize new marketing campaigns and strategies * Complete event recap forms JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS * High School Graduate (A.A. / B.A. / B.S. – preferred) * Previous experience with marketing or branding * Adept at professionally presenting and engaging with individuals and groups * Proven track record of successfully growing relationships * Moderate experience and comfort level with social media * Able to work a flexible schedule including, but not limited to, days, nights, weekends, holidays, etc. * Willing to travel and drive 50-75% of the time * Must be 21+ and possess a current valid CA Drivers License and reliable mode of transportation with storage space to accommodate merchandise * Clean driving record * Provide valid proof of auto insurance coverage in accordance with internal limit requirements * Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Experience with Google Applications * Internet savvy PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * This position is a physical job and requires the employee to: * Lift and carry 25-50 pounds regularly * Respond quickly * Move safely into, out of and through retail spaces and into, out of and through warehouse environments 6 Core Values of a Surterra Employee * Integrity - We operate in a regulated and unchartered industry.
