  • Under direction from branch manager and assistant, provide prompt, efficient and friendly services to customers, involving receipt and payment of cash, and to recognize customer needs with suggestions appropriate to the bank's services

  • Follow established policies in accordance with the bank's and supervisor's direction

  • Ensure that each personal banker/teller balances and assist in locating any differences

  • Ensure that all differences are properly initialed and, if required, reported to the manager immediately

  • Accountable for personal achievement of monthly new account production as assigned by upper management

  • Responsible for the guidance, development and assistance of personal banker growth and sales production

  • Sell and prepares money orders, cashiers checks, Bank-to-bank wires, savings bonds, travelers' checks and certificates of deposits

  • Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish speaking population

  • Ensure that appearance of the teller area and personnel are neat, organized and in accordance with bank policy

  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch location

  • Operate a computer and other office machinery

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in production accountability

  • Minimum of six months cash handling experience in a sales or customer service position.

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Ability to make independent decisions

  • Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy

  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time.

VIEW JOBS 9/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-19T00:00 Position Summary: The Branch Operations Supervisor provides day to day oversight of the branch operations, excluding sales. This position will handle billing, administrative tasks, assist with dispatching of drivers, direct the asset team in meeting production goals and handle some purchasing for the branch. The ideal candidate will provide management and leadership to the team and ensure the highest standard of customer service and prompt response. This position is critical to the growth and development of the Division and the Southern region. Duties/Responsibilities of Position: * Main POC for the operational efforts at the Beaumont office. Specific areas include logistics, customer service, contracts, billing, receiving, accounts payable and purchase orders. * Interfacing with sales, administrative support, drivers and regional management to best serve our clients and our company. This position may also coordinate with other locations in Texas, Louisiana and Florida as it relates to location of the fleet of equipment. * Assist with the implementation of "best practices" for the branch and the division, maximizing efficiency of personnel and equipment * Provide excellent customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations to assist the sales team in displacing the competition * Develop relationships with the staff to ensure a good working environment * Develop relationships with key vendors * Communicate and coordinate with customers in a professional and friendly manner * Coordinate with sales and office staff and complete paperwork accurately for Job Orders (JO's) and other documentation Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required: * 5 or more years experience in operations with logistics, trucking and/or transportation * High energy, flexible and able to execute in a fast paced, very diverse environment * Highly proficient in current technology to help maintain organization and handle a volume of varying tasks and meet deadlines * Track record of hands-on success * Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills * Effective project and time management skills Experience/Education Required/Desired: * PC proficiency in a Windows environment * BS/BA/BBA degree a plus Special Considerations: * Hours could run from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on a regular basis * Must be able to be on-call 24/7 and respond to customer emergencies * Office, shop and outdoor environment Location of Position: * Beaumont, Texas All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion , sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.
