We are seeking to hire an experienced branch management professional for our Fitchburg branch who is capable of ensuring efficient daily branch operations and who will provide leadership to the branch staff to ensure outstanding customer service, product sales and customer calling programs goals are achieved. Along with staff supervision and coaching, the Branch Service Manager interacts with customers daily, responding to inquiries about bank products and addressing complex issues, answering questions, and accepting loan applications.
Additional responsibilities for this position will include assisting with the daily operations as needed and ensuring the branch is consistently in compliance with all bank policies and procedures. The Branch Service Manager also prepares the branch for internal audits by maintaining daily logs and regular security checks, monitors the branch service quality levels and will attend branch functions and community activities to promote the Bank's image and growth.
Thorough knowledge of banking products and commercial banking procedures along with two plus years of supervisory experience in a banking environment preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in a business discipline and/or equivalent education/experience is required. Proficiency utilizing computers and Microsoft Office applications as well as banking applications (preferably Insight Teller and Fiserv Premier Banking) is essential. Excellent communication skills along with a desire to provide outstanding service to customers are necessities.
