Hopewell Federal Credit Union is currently searching for highly motivated and professional individuals to fill the role of Credit Union Branch Sales Manager.

The Credit Union Manager is responsible for the management of the entire credit union branch, with ultimate responsibility for driving branch results. The Branch Manager is in charge of delivering strong individual sale performance and ensuring the execution of superior service and sales of their team in order to meet and exceed branch goals. They are also charged with maintaining an operationally efficient and compliant branch while originating and closing all types of consumer loans. They are also expected to generate business through outside business calls.


  • Oversee production including deposit, lending, and new members.

  • Develop and maintain new and existing member relationships.

  • Hire, train, develop, motivate, coach and discipline branch team; administer performance evaluations and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Responsible to ensure a high level of member service is achieved and maintained.

  • Conduct consistent sales and team meetings.

  • Manager and maintain security of branch.

  • Monitor all branch activities to ensure compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.

  • Represent the branch as appropriate and as requested.

  • Maintain communications with COO, prepare and submit reports timely and attend scheduled meetings.

  • Build a strong and effective team.

  • Generate business through outside business calling.


Two to four years branch manager experience required and an equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Must be sales and team oriented and have excellent communication skills. Must have a good working knowledge of accounting practices and principles. Must have the ability to plan and organize your own work activities. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
