Responsible for field safety compliance, safety training/practices, OSHA compliance and conducting safety audits/job site inspections for the assigned branch. Will work closely with the client safety representative and branch management to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and operational policies/practices.
Conduct safety audits, job observations and incident / accident investigations.
Organize and conduct all safety and new hire training for the branch.
Interface with client safety representatives
Completes all reports and paperwork timely and in compliance with company and client requirements
Work turnarounds at client sites day, night and weekends as needed.
May coordinate the Substance Abuse Program testing
May coordinate employee injury related tasks
May ensure compliance with Department of Transportation requirements
Steward and coordinate the loss prevention process
Perform other duties as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent and some college preferred
Certification in safety related program (OHST, CSST, CHST, COSS) preferred
Skills and experience:
3 years of safety experience in industrial cleaning or similar environment
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel)
