Branch Operations Manager
Southland Logistics is a full-service transportation provider, with 30 years of experience in the marketplace and rapidly growing asset-based company with offices nationwide. Last year we handled the logistics for some of America's largest companies.
We are seeking a Freight Brokerage Operations Manager to grow with us for 1st shift essential employment in our Hickory, NC brokerage office. This position is a 40 + hour work week on a traditional Monday through Friday schedule in a fast-paced work environment. It will allow you to lend your individual talents to a team setting while managing a small team of employees.
The Freight Brokerage Operations Manager will be responsible for the profit and loss reporting for the office, including the overall order cycle for customers, enhancement of business development and sustainability of our customers' satisfaction. Qualified candidates will already have a proven record of success within the operations of a freight brokerage operation. You will have to assess and identify incoming orders for priority, review for customer needs, and direct your brokerage team's actions to ensure that all expectations and contractual obligations are met.

Required Qualifications: High school degree or GED Equivalency. Proven flexibility and adaptability to product and customer needs Time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in TMS and Microsoft 365 Software.
