Branch Operations Manager

Dakota Fluid Power, a Singer Industrial Company, is searching for Branch Operations Manager, to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD.

We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for the Branch Manager is to be a leader in the fluid power industry that is experienced in customer service and operations who can oversee a team and drive service center performance. This role involves managing operations, coaching staff, fostering customer relationships, and contributing to the company's commitment to excellence and growth.

Job Duties Include:

• Lead customer service/inside sales, front counter sales, service and warehouse staff.

• Willingness to be a working manager who can back fill staff and serve the customer

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch

• Work closely with outside sales and customers to support all incoming opportunities

• Learn and understand companies ERP system

• Perform employee reviews

• Ensure showroom is in top notch and look for creative ways to market products

• Establish and track branch goals

• Manage and follow up with all current orders

• Manage appropriate inventory levels

• Assist with yearly budgets and profit/loss statement

• Other duties assigned by management

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have a basic understanding of hydraulics and experience within the fluid power industry

• Excellent communication skills

• Highly motivated, self-starter/ detail oriented

• High-level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
