The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the Automotive Branch Facility. Functions managed include sales, profit, expenses, supervisors/leadership of branch personnel and safety/security of the facility. The Branch Manager will ensure the Branch provides the highest level of Trademark Customer Service.

The core responsibilities and duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales and PBT goals

  • Develops and implements branch market plan based on market conditions, branch mission and financial/budget objectives.

  • Ensures customers are serviced appropriately to meet their expectations.

  • Supports Sales Rep selling activities.

  • Handles customer complaints within area/region guidelines.

  • Ensures all transactions are handled properly through the computer operating system.

  • Ensures all customer orders are accurately prepared and records maintained.

  • Manages the merchandising of the branch according to area/region or company guidelines.

  • Maintains branch inventory levels to maximize sales and inventory turns.

  • Conducts physical inventory in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Ensures that the branch warehouse area is organized

  • Ensures safety, loss prevention and security practices are followed by all branch employees according to policy and corrects or reports non-compliance.

  • Review management/financial reports on a frequent basis to optimize financial performance of the branch.

  • Ensures that branch staff performs at a level appropriate to meet branch objectives by clearly communicating assignments and expectations, conducting performance appraisals and administering discipline as required.

  • Builds positive relationships with employees, customers and external vendors.

  • Holds regular meetings with employees to discuss progress and coaches when needed.

  • Adhere to company safety standards at all times.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion

  • Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing

  • May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have at least 1 year in customer service related position

  • Must be advanced in all aspects of Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated ability to work with word documents and spreadsheets

  • Demonstrated high level of both verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations and financial ratios relative to a P&L

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a sales related role

  • Previous experience in automotive after market industry

  • Bachelor's Degree

Educational qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or Finance preferred. Four (4) or more years of experience in automotive, financial services or related industry required. Two (2) years of prior leadership experice is required. The qualified candidate will have a basic understanding of financial statements as well as a passion to lead people, projects, and budgets. Some Branch Managers will manage multiple sites. This person will demonstrate the ability to elevate relationships through leadership and communication skills. Computer skills, CRM familiarity and standard office equipment knowledge required. Motor vehicle operator (required). A Notary license is preferred. Environmental requirements: Position requires sitting for extended periods in an office environment with some walking and carrying (files, folders, etc.). Preparation or review of documents and reports using pen/pencil, calculator, or keyboard is a major component of the position.
