American Heritage FCU 2.6+ billion Credit Union is looking for a candidate for our Branch Manager Program. This program is designed to prepare individuals for management level positions by giving the candidate the opportunity to learn and grow in the following areas:

  • Exposure to decision-making and leadership styles of managers

  • Exposure to organizational knowledge

  • Development of new skills such as leadership, employee relations, sales & service growth & development, communication skills, conflict management, team building, strategic management, etc.

In addition to developing a candidate for this program, the credit union is making a visible commitment to retaining future leaders and maintaining a motivated and effective workplace.

DUTIES

  • Thorough knowledge of all credit union products, policies, procedures, and branch services.

  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for supervising staff and servicing credit union members, staff, and clients.

  • Responsible for adhering to and coaching to policies/procedures including, but not limited to, cash management, security, lending, federal regulations, and Human Resources.

  • Ability to coach staff to be highly motivated, well trained, skilled in sales, and proficient in the delivery of Whale done service while maintaining a Cross-Selling environment within the branch.

  • Assist in training employees and providing input for evaluating employee job performance.

  • Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with all levels of the organization and within our existing Workplace Partners (WPP) if applicable.

  • Ability to analyze, identify and interpret member's problems, questions and needs. Provide information on a product/service that will meet or exceed member expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a college degree or be currently enrolled in an accredited university with a minimum of 50 completed credits (*Copies of your current transcripts are required if currently enrolled.)

  • Must have an advanced working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, Meridian Link, MS Outlook, EZ Labor and Symitar preferred).

  • Must demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, initiative, engaging personality & an eagerness to motivate self and others.

  • Must be willing to work late nights and Saturdays and be flexible to travel to any branch and/or department within the Credit Union (Center City and Suburbs included.)

Focal points include: * Driving excellence in customer service * Maintaining company standards in product and facility specifications * Reviewing food handling procedures * Assessing operational processes * The human resources responsibilities of a Shift Manager are limited to crew training and ongoing coaching and feedback for hourly employees. In addition, the Shift Manager may assume full responsibility for the opening and closing of the restaurant when management is unavailable. In these instances, the Shift Manager maintains administrative control of the restaurant but is not authorized to serve in a managerial capacity. Principle Accountabilities Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality * Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations and ensure products are consistent with company quality standards. * Conducts periodic food safety audits. * Provides on-going coaching and feedback to crew on customer service, product quality and speed of service. * Financial * Shares with the Assistant Manager day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening/closing safe and verifying drawers. * Operations * Conducts daily inventory, completes shift-to-shift food safety audit and sets up daily control sheets. * Reviews facility and equipment readiness. * Monitors inventory, food preparation and order fulfillment on a daily basis to ensure adherence to company standards. * Monitors speed with service (SWS) performance and resolves bottlenecks to achieve SWS goals. * In the absence of management, responsible for food and supplies deliveries and restaurant opening and closing. Human Resources * Provides ongoing coaching and feedback for crew employees. * Provides "hands-on" training for crew in Learning Zone. * Posts safety awareness documentation. * Success Measures * Shift/Weekly restaurant performance in sales, labor, ICOS and controllables * PRC results and OSAT scores, food safety, financial audits * Knowledge and Skill Requirements Delivers Excellence in Customer Service Is fully aware of customer needs and ensures that they receive quality products and service. Restaurant Operations Technically proficient in all aspects of food preparation, production and delivery. Displays detailed knowledge of all key food handling/food safety procedures. Familiar with basic restaurant equipment troubleshooting. Displays detailed knowledge of all company product standards.
