Job Description:

At Regions, a Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaged, operationally sound, and high performing team dedicated to improving the financial wellness of our customers. As a Branch Manager, you are expected to be a player and coach, overseeing branch operations, directly managing associate performance, and providing guidance as needed to ensure associates are helping customers reach their financial goals by understanding and meeting customer needs. Branch Managers are expected to drive branch performance results through strong individual sales performance in addition to coaching and leadership, ensuring the team meets and exceeds branch sales, quality, and service goals while maintaining an operationally efficient and compliant branch.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads medium sized branch team responsible for meaningfully impacting new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutions

  • Ensures a consistent optimal customer experience at assigned branch. This may include sharing responsibility greeting customers and processing transactions to ensure customers bank when, where, and how they want

  • Oversees all business transactions and practices within span of control, ensuring compliance with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and internal audit requirements

  • Coaches and develops branch associates through execution of iConnect - the Region's Sales, Service and Coaching process, with minimal guidance from assigned mentor, senior level managers and internal support partners

  • Resolves escalated customer and associate issues and provides counseling to associates as needed with limited guidance and direction from senior leadership and Human Resources

  • Manages recruiting and selection process for assigned branch

  • Educates associates, customers, and surrounding community about best practices to achieve and maintain financial wellness in addition to emerging bank technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier

  • Conducts outside sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new business clients, while also maintaining and expanding existing consumer and business banking relationships

  • Maintains relationships with Line of Business partners who assist customers when more complex financial needs are discovered

This position is incentive eligible.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills

  • Ability to provide effective feedback and guidance

  • Ability to exhibit mastery of key advice, guidance, and education concepts

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four (4) years of bank branch, sales, or sales management experience

Preferences:

  • College degree

  • Previous leadership or branch management experience

  • Expected to obtain an insurance license within 12 months and maintain continuing education for licensing requirements

Must be organized, guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing. Major Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better. * Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds. * Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions. * Have thorough knowledge of Deliverin’ the Goods, TOPBAR and all of their components and use them as guidelines to manage the bar effectively. * Work as a team with all Logan’s personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service. * Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to Logan’s standards at all times. * Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes. * Ring drink and/or food orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change. * Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Logan’s Roadhouse standards. * Wash and sterilize stemware. * Place current bar tabs in rocks glasses in front of Guests at all times with their name and your name written on it. * Monitor and ensure that no Guest receives more than 2 Roadhouse Teas on the rocks. * Be attentive and anticipate your guest’s needs! Follow the half-full rule when offering another drink. Be alert of guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledge the guest so they know you will be right with them. * Learn your guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks. This will make Logan’s Roadhouse a special place for them. * Responsible service of alcohol. Should a guest reach the state you do not feel they should drive, we will supply a taxi. Do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary. * Other duties as directed. Essential Physical Requirements: * Walks and stands during entire shift. * Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe. * Remain stationary for long periods of time. * Frequent washing of hands. * Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs. * Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping. * You must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
