Branch Manager/Officer

Location: South Lebanon Branch
Status: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt or Salaried Exempt at Officer level
Bank Operation Hours: M-Th 8:15-5:15, Friday 8:15-6:15, Saturday 8:15-1:15
Branch Manager Compensation
Position Purpose: Ensures superior and quality service is provided to our customers by branch staff at all levels. This position requires a broad knowledge of all bank products, services and general operations, while leveraging this knowledge to proactively seek out business development opportunities. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all functions performed in the branch are compliant and adhere to regulations and company procedures. The incumbent will also be responsible for coaching and developing their staff and will possess strong leadership skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.)
Proactively seek out business development opportunities by pursuing and participating in community activities and organizations
Create an environment of professional, courteous, efficient, and friendly service for both customers and staff
Model and lead to LCNB's Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council's mission and values
Set an example and lead a team to grow the branch and build relationships using and coordinating efforts with the following resource experts:
Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial Lending Teams
Treasury Management Team
Investment Services Team
Wealth Team
Merchant Services Team
Coordinate and participate in the development of branch personnel you supervise and lead through training, coaching, and mentoring. Some duties include but are not limited to:
Set a good example with your own work ethic
Develop a written game plan for each employee you supervise which fulfills branch development goals
Encourage staff to seek out their own business development opportunities by engaging with and participating in community organizations and events
Coordinate with other offices, departments, the bank trainer or the training committee to provide professional growth experiences
Provide regular feedback to the employees on their progress
Perform HR-related duties for your team such as reviewing and approving timecards; coordinating vacation schedules; participating in the hiring process; set specific goals and provide timely and specific performance feedback; prepare recommendations on merit increases based on individual performance
Play an active role by setting an example and coaching staff to proactively pursue cross-selling opportunities for all bank products as part of LCNB's referral program
Make sound decisions based on a mixture of experience, analysis, wisdom, and judgement
Maintain a high level of confidentiality to protect the customer and the Bank
Liaise with senior management and other department heads to process special transactions and address extraordinary issues and/or situations
Actively pursue and participate in community activities and organizations
Maintain the operations of the branch at a high level by being timely, accurate, and efficient with all daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
Maintain a high standard of all audits performed both by branch staff and other third parties
Coordinate all branch operational duties and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent (required)
College degree (preferred)
2 years of leadership/management experience, working with internal and external customers with diverse backgrounds and experiences
Ohio Notary Public (or the ability to obtain commission within first three months of employment)
NMLS (obtained or transferred within 45 days)

Required Qualifications/Education/Experience:
High School diploma/GED equivalent, or college degree in Business (preferred)
5+ years of retail banking experience
Minimum of five years' leadership/management experience, working with internal and external customers with diverse backgrounds and experiences

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Play a proactive role in strategic planning to create and execute initiatives that support both branch and overall bank goals and objectives
Successfully lead change, whether systems, processes, or structures/people
Working Conditions for both Branch Managers and Branch Officers
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasionally move/traverse to access files and equipment
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a phone, calculator, copy machine, scanner and computer printer
Occasionally moves coin bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally will need to travel up to a 30-mile radius
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
